Jeremy:

With the lights out, simple tasks such as writing and even reading became a challenge. The band room offered no windows for the light to stream in, but with the heavy rains and dark clouds, even having light was a hard task.

But that didn't stop the band crew. They gathered around a table and started to deal cards. After everyone recieved their card, the story began.

"It was a cold winter day," Nick began. The mood in the room dropped just like the temperature. "And there was a sleepover in the band room."

The whole purpose of this card game is a giant murder mystery game. Everyone in the group recieved a card. Each card was either a Jack, a King, a Queen or a number. Each round everyone closes their eyes. The Jack symbolized the murderer. They would open their eyes when told and "kill" someone. After the Jacks close their eyes, the Queen's wake up. The Queen's job is to "save" someone with their medical background. After the Queen's come the King. The king has to arrest a person on random who they believe is the killer. And the number cards elect someone at the end of the round who they believe is the killer.

"At night everyone closed their eyes." Nick continued.

Jeremy yawned as he closed his eyes. He usually loved this game, but after today's events, he felt drained. He crossed his arms and rested his head on the desk. He felt himself fall deeper and deeper into sleep.

What felt like mere seconds later, Jeremy woke up to a giant bang. He shot up and looked around the band room. Groggily he noticed everyone had their heads turned to the open door, looking for an answer. The sound echoed off the buildings of the school until it faded into emptiness.

"What was that?" Oshea asked, puting her card down.

"I don't know," Kenzie said shaking her head. "But whatever it was. That was loud."

Jeremy got up and walked to the door. The falling rain outside made it sort of hard to see anything. But in the distance. He could make out two figures in the rain. One laid on the floor, while the other hovered over the other.

A giant pain grew inside of Jeremy's head. He whinced from the pain and leaned his body against the doorframe. He managed to open his eyes to get a better look at the two figures. The one on the top looked to be... Eating the other.

Dark blood laid on the sidewalk where the two were. The rain washing it away. The taller of the two got up and scanned the buildings. Jeremy grabbed the door and shut it, leaving only an inch to see out of.

"What's happening?" Brea asked.

Jeremy's heart pounded against his chest. He watched the figure move and scan. Probably looking for his next prey.

Jeremy watched his every movement. He walked around as if he were intoxicated. The blood of his victim covered his face. From a hallway, a girl emerged. Her long brown hair tied high up in a ponytail. Her books soaked from the rain.

She looked at thw two figures in the rain. Her face changed to pure horror. Then she seemed to look behind the figure in and screamed. Jeremy turned and stared in pure horror as more blood covered monsters emerged from the rain. The monsters from his vision... Or dream...

They all chased and pounced on the girl. Tearing each of her limbs off and eating them. Her blood curdling screams filling the air.

Jeremy shut the door hard. Everyone's eyes were on him. He slumped against the door.

"What was that?" Nick asked reaching for the doorknob.

"No!" Jeremy shrieked. Blocking his way. "Quietly. Go to the office and get me the keys."

"Why-" Nick started.

"Now." Jeremy said sternly.

"Here," Bronson tossed the keys to Jeremy. Jeremy gulped air and opened the door slowly. The girls screams seemed to die with her. The monsters feasted on her remaining flesh. The only way to lock the door was from the outside. He slowly reached his hands out and fit the key in the lock.

He watched the monsters and quickly turned to lock the door. Not making a noise. After hearing the heavenly click of the lock, Jeremy pulled the key out of it's place.

From no where a loud bang erupted from the skies. Lightning flashed and Jeremy's heart dropped. The monsters looked to the sky and began to get up. Sound, Jeremy thought. Sound is what attracts them.

Then, as if fate couldn't be any crueler, one of the monsters made eye contact with Jeremy. He yelled loudly and the rest of the mob of creatures looked his way. His heart dropped as all the creatures began to run to the door.

Jeremy shut the door quickly and backed up to a wall. In mere seconds, pounding erupted from the other side of the door. And all Jeremy could do was stare in horror. Hoping the door would stay shut.
