Kenzie:
Jeremy sat in the corner, his eyes full of fear. Kenzie ran over to his side as he raised a trembling hand to the door. As if on que, bangs erupted from the other side of the door.
"What the heck?" Kenzie asked. She got up.
Jeremy muttered something under his breath as Kenzie made her way closer to the door. The bangs were getting louder with each passing second.
Kenzie looked around the room at her scared and quiet friends. Taylen backed up and tripped over a stand, revealing that she was the killer in their card game. A game that didn't matter anymore.
Because this was real. At least for the most part it felt real.
From one of the smaller rooms within the band room, Angel appeared. Angel was Kenzie's friend ever since they met. He was a tall kid, even for his age and always wore his reggae beanie over his dark hair. He took out his ear buds and looked at the door. "Don't you guys hear the door?" he said as he reached for the knob.
"No!" Jeremy shrieked. But it was too late. As soon as Angel turned the knob, the door was yanked open. On the other side of the doorway stood multiple figures. All mangled, missing limbs and covered in blood.
Kenzie stood in oure shock and horror as the monsters began to lunge and grab at Angel. Some bitting him and taking chunks out of his arms.
Jeremy sprang up and ran to the door. He took a broom and began hitting the creatures. Pushing them back out into the rain. One by one he plied the monsters from Angel's flesh.
That's all it took to snap Kenzie out of her shock. As soon as the last monster was off of Angel, Kenzie slammed the door shut. Jeremy kneeled next to a gasping Angel.
Blood covered his clothes and his body. Heavy breathing and coughs filled the air.
"Hold on Angel," Jeremy said. "Someone pass me the med kit!" He shouted to no one in particular.
Five seconds later, the med kit was passed up and Jeremy opened the kit. "Ang? Just hold on-" Jeremy looked at Angel.
Kenzie knelt next to him. His eyes were staring at the ceiling, his deep breathing stopped completely, and no movement came to his body. Kenzie stared in shock at their dead friend lying in the middle of the band room.

Kenzie looked around the room. She counted each and every person in the room. She listed all the people in her head:
Jeremy
Kenzie
Bronson
Brea
Oshea
Nick
Taylen
Zachary
Delance
Josh
TeahEleven. Eleven people. Twelve if you count Angel's dead body rotting in the room.
Ten minutes after those... Things attacked Angel. Everyone stared at his body. Shaking with fear, Kenzie ventured over and poked his body. His lifeless eyes staring at the ceiling showed nothing but emptiness.
That's when the first sniffle came. Kenzie turned around and saw tears rolling down Teah's face. Her green eyes contrasting against her pale skin and her dark hair tied into a ponytail. Everything looked normal, except for the tears streaming down her face.
Kenzie saw her crying and that's when reality hit. Everything that happened, just now, it all seemed so fake. But it was real.
They lost a friend today, a good friend. But the shock just hit her. She began to cry, no. She began to sob. She remembered all the fun times she had with Angel. From playing at football games, to marching in parades. Now his lifeless corpse layed there.
No new memeories could be made with him. No new jokes can come from his mouth. All she could do was cry.
She looked around the room as everyone wore a sad expression. Some sobbed, while others stared, still in shock.
It was Oshea that asked the question that was on everyone's minds,
"What is going on?..."

They moved Angel into a seperate room, until they could figure out what to do with him. Kenzie stood in the kitchen, surveying the food. Luckily, it was fully stocked. She didn't know what would happen, but it didn't hurt to be careful. She walked out of the kitchen and into the main room. Everyone was gathered by the whiteboards.
She took a seat next to Delance, one ofnher best friends. Delance was always a quiet person. He never really said much to new people but once you got to know him, he wouldn't shut up.
But today, today everyone was silent. For five minutes everyone just fell quiet. Either they didn't know what to say, or were to sad to say anything.
But through the quiet, Jeremy spoke, "I... I don't know what to say guys..."
Everyone looked at him. Tears were forming in his eyes with each word he spoke. "Those things... I don't... I have no idea..."
He took a shaky breath and continued, "I don't know what those things are. Or what they want. But none of us are allowed to leave."
Kenzie blinked. She agreed with him. But why would he have to say that? Wasn't it obvious that they shoudl stay put away from those things?
"What do you mean we're not allowed to leave?" Teah asked. "What about my mom? What about my dad?" Teah stood and slamed her fist on a desk. "What if our families are worried about us? What if they're in trouble? We can't just sit here?"
Jeremy stared her sttaight in the eyes. "Fine," he said. He walked over to the closet and grabbed a cookie. He handed it to Teah and turned to leave the room.
"What's this for?" she asked.
"It's a goodbye gift," he said coldly and turned to her. "Because if you go out there, you will die." He turned and left the room and went into a smaler practice room.
Teah slowly sat down and looked at the floor. Kenzie ran a hand through her hair and sighed.
"What's up his ass?" Teah muttered quietly.
