Vicky:
Vicky yawned on her couch and took a look at her clock. It was almost one in the afternoon and it was still dark outside her house. Thunder boomed across the skies, echoing across the various mountains. And lighting flashed leaving her house in shadows.
Vicky loved it.
Nothing beat the sheer cold of a thunderstorm. Laying at home curled in a blanket, when merely a hundred feet away, nature was destroying what it had built. It sounds crazy, but when everyday is paradise, it's nice to see some disaster.
Vicky's phone still wasn't working. And her tv wouldnt turn on. So she layed there, watching the rain outside her window, and pondering on things that went on in her head.
She thought about her friends. All of which were probably at school, cracking jokes about each other or eating. Or even a combonation of both. She thought about Oshea, how she'd always stand uo for Vicky. And she thought about Bronson, how he'd always supply food.
Vicky smiled to herself knowing she had some pretty good friends.
She layed there for minutes on end just basking in the emptiness of her home. That was when she realized, she was utterly bored.
She sat up and yawned. For some odd reason she felt extremely tired but extremely awake.
She shuffled her way outside to check on her dog, Max. "Maxie?" she called out to the rain. "Maxie!!"
She scanned her entire backyard but found nothing. Not even any sign of Max.
"Alright! Whatever maxie," she closed the back door and turned around. She looked up and came eye to eye with a complete stranger standing in her living room.
