Chapter 4

When Romeo gets in his car he gets a call from Ernie.
Ernie: Yo leave me on the line I don't know how to drive there.
Romeo: Okay.
Ernie: So what's your girls name?
Romeo: Karina
Ernie hears Romeo crying.
Ernie: Don't cry.
Romeo: Okay bro.
Romeo doesn't say anything and they start driving. It takes the about 15 minutes to drive to the hospital. Ernie follows his car and parks by his car when they get there.
Ernie: So do I need a pass?
Romeo: I have one. I'll just say you are my brother.
Ernie: Okay.
They get out of their cars and both walk into the hospital together. Romeo shows the security guards his pass and they let him and Ernie through. They go up the elevator and walk to her room. Romeo opens the door and sees her beautiful face. Even though it has no life in it she still looks beautiful. The nurse is in the room. Ernie sees Karina and he starts to cry.
Ernie: My aunt died in a coma.
Romeo: Do you think Karina will die?
Ernie: Well my aunt went into a coma because she got hit with a car and I don't think she will die.
Romeo: I'm just so scared.
They find some chairs and pull them up to her bed. And they sit.
Ernie: So did you get the restraining order against Francelys?
Romeo: Yea I signed the papers today.
Ernie: How did it go?
Romeo: She started crying.
Ernie: Shes a bitch.
Romeo: I know.
Ernie pulls a paper from his pocket.
Romeo: What is that.
Ernie: I dont know I got it in my mail this morning.
He opens it. Its a letter from his sister.
Ernie: Ernie, I know you are close friends with Anthony and I wanted you to go to his moms funeral.
It gives the address and phone number.
Romeo: I wish I had a sister like yours.
Ernie: My sister is so over protected
Romeo: Mine has issues. You can't tell mine anything.
They sit there and play a game on their phones together. After 2 hours Ernie decides that he needs to go home. Its 12:00
Ernie: Bro im gonna go.
Romeo: Now?
Ernie: Yea im tired. I hope you feel better and I hope your girl gets better.
Romeo: Okay I appreciate you staying with me
Ernie walks to Karinas body. He grabs her hand and gives it a kiss
Ernie: Its a pleasure meeting you Karina.
Romeo lets out a little smile. Ernie give Romeo a bro hug.
Ernie: I'll text you when I'm at home.
Romeo: Okay bro drive safe.
Ernie: You dont get in trouble.
Romeo: Okay.
Ernie leaves and he closes the door so softly. The nurse walks in about 5 minutes later.
Nurse: You want a place to sleep?
Romeo: Um im fine here.
Nurse: Are you sure?
Romeo: I wanna stay with her tonight.
Nurse: Aw well make your self comfortable. I could bring you a blanket and a pillow.
Romeo: Really? Yes please.
Nurse: Okay.
She leaves and brings a blanket and a pillow. Romeo puts two chairs side by side so it makes a little platform sorta where he can sleep on. He doesn't sleep until Ernie sends him a text 'Bro im home and we gotta meet up again soon' when he reads that he falls asleep.
