I hold his head. He sits down on one of the rows after the person left. I hold both of his hands and I look him in the eye. They are red and he looks so tired.
Karina: Baby...I love you.
Romeo: I love you too.
Silvia is watching and she says something.
Silvia: Are you sure or are you just saying that Anthony?
She leaves.
I just look at him. He is playing with his ring.
Romeo: Hey don't believe her she doesn't know anything.
Karina: How about we go somewhere.
Romeo: Okay.
I get up and I hold his hand I take him back the the limo car we go in and we are alone. I kiss his neck and he lowers the straps of my dress and he starts kissing my neck. It actually feels good when you haven't had it in a while. He starts to rock his body back and forth. We stay like this for a few long minutes. I hear the door open. Its the driver. He says something.
Driver: Are you guys satisfied?😳
Anthony looks at me and he lets out a little smile.
Anthony: Yea.
His friends come in like nothing happened. Anthony whispers something im my ear.
Anthony: If I could take your smile and inject it directly into my blood stream.
I start to smile at him.
Anthony: My parents warned me about drugs in baggies sold on the street. But never the ones with smiles and a heartbeat.
I laugh. I lean my fore head against his.
Karina: We gotta do something like a date.
Romeo: We should go see Kanye West.
Karina: Really?
His friends hear.
Ricardo: He coming in 3 days.
Romeo: Perfect.
I look at him.
Karina: Okay Anthony.
Ernie: How about we do hookah after the show?
Karina: Hookah? What is that?
Anthony grabs my hand.
Anthony: Baby its flavored water vapor.
Karina: And?
Cedric: You smoke it.
Karina: I've never smoked something before.
Ernie: Well consider yourself lucky because you with the experts. Well not really Anthony he just joins us sometimes but we do it at his house sometimes.
I look at him all confused. He starts to get embarrassed.
Ricardo: He hasn't showed you his bong?
Karina: No...
Anthony: Baby I can explain.
Karina: What?
Anthony: We used to do it along time ago im not like that anymore.
Karina: Baby I just don't want you to be a stoner. You will mess up your life.
Anthony: Sorry.
Anthony's dad and his sister come into the car and we drive off to the cemetery. But first we drive through his old neighborhood.
