I groaned.

Beep... Beep... Beep...
"What?" I murmured as I tried to sit. I opened my eyes to see myself half naked and in Mr. Steven's basement/lab.
Click!
I looked down at my chest only to see both thick and thin wires connecting from the complicated machines to my heart.
"Great..." I grumbled and took them off one by one until all that is left is the hole in my chest which resides my heart...
My mechanical heart.
It whirred. Buzzed.
I looked at the table besides the bed I was on and saw the "cap" that covers the hole. It was made specially to hide it. It's made out of skin-like plastic that would make you think that the hole and my mechanical heart isn't there.
I placed it on top and heard it hiss. I sighed and instead of leaving the basement, I lied down on the bed for a while, staring at the ceiling.
'What happened?' I thought. And then I remembered,
"Dennise!"
"She went home already..."
"Amy?" I sat up and saw her leaning on the door frame.
"She freaked out you know. Seeing your nose bleeding like waterfalls." Amy said.
"Shit..." I swore.
"Don't worry, she doesn't know yet." Amy chuckled. "What happened?"
"I... I don't know." I shook my head trying to remember what I did wrong. "My chest just... Clicked when me and Den were having fun."
Click!
There it goes again.
I gave her a "see?" look and she came near me.
"Did you two do something?" Amy asked seriously.
"Well... We talked..." Then a flash. I saw myself and Den, our faces, noses... Lips... Very near. I shook my head.
Click!
"Ly..." Amy looked at me warningly.
"Okay! Fine! Why is it a big deal? Eh kayo ni Ella? May ginawa kayo?" I changed the topic. Sana makalusot... Crossed fingers.
Amy's face turned dreamy and her smile could tear her face. "It was great! We went to a perya kanina and... Wait." Amy stopped.
Great.
She noticed.
"Don't change the topic, Alyssa!" Amy shouted.
I groaned.
"Alyssa Caymo Valdez!" Amy, with a threat.
"You forgot the dash-Ahomiro." I added.
"Fuck that!" Amy shouted.
"Ow... You don't accept me as your brother?" I dramatically frowned. "I'm hurt."
She raised an eyebrow at me.
Uh oh... She's mad.
"Fine! We..."
