Walk, walk, walk...

That is what they did and what they want is rest, rest, rest. Unfortunately, they never had one. Ella and Dennise were pulling them in and out of every store they want to go look in and try in. Tiring? Yes, it was but seeing their faces brighten in every store they weave in and out, was worth it.

"I'm hungry..." Ella complained.

"Yaaaan..." Alyssa said. "Shopping pa more. You guys were walking for like, forever!"

"True..." Amy nodded. "Your not buying anything naman."

"Ayan na nga eh!" Ella scowled. "Gutom na ako and to tell you, it's called window shopping."

"Tsss..." Amy scowled as well. Alyssa elbowed her and they went on their way to Pancake House.

"Ahhh..." Alyssa moaned as she slouched and stretched on her cushion seat. Dennise sat beside her and accidentally saw Alyssa's shirt lift a bit showing Alyssa's abs. She blushed and tried to stop herself from staring.

"Ahem..."

Dennise snapped and looked for the source of the voice and when she did, she saw Ella smirking at her.

Ella scooted as Amy sat beside her. The taller girl stretched and put her arm on Ella's shoulder. She leaned on the crook of Ella's neck and inhaled. Lala blushed. She then heard a giggle from Dennise and glared at her. "Hahaha, very funny."

Denden rolled her eyes. She took the menu and leaned closer to Alyssa.

"Hey, order mo, Ly?" Denden asked.

"Uhm..." Alyssa said, uncertain because of their distance. "Uhhh... I think I'll get the, uh, the roast beef complete... I guess." Alyssa stuttered.

"Okay... Lala, I'll get spaghetti and the soup for today and Alyssa would like the roast beef daw. How about you?" Dennise passed the menu to her friend who was about to protest but was cut off by Amy who was supposed to be snoozing.

"I'll get spicy chicken." Amy smiled.

"Hey! Share tayo?" Alyssa asked.

"Sure." Amy replied and Ella now, voiced out her protest

"Teka, teka... Bakit saakin niyo binibigay yung orders niyo?"

"Besh, akala ko ba ikaw magbabayad?" Dennise asked.

"Ha?! Hala, wala akong sinasabi!" Ella exclaimed.

"You pwomised." Amy said with her baby voice and looked at her nililigawan with puppy eyes.

"Ay sus. You think I'll fall with your trick? Nah, no..." Ella frowned.

"Hay nako..." Alyssa sat up straight and called a waitress and recited their orders. "What?" She said as the group looked at her, confused. "Gutom na ako... Let's talk about who's going to pay later." Alyssa slouched back and leaned towards the window pane.

Dennise shook her head and pulled Alyssa's head made her lie on her lap.
The tall, morena girl gasped in surprise. She looked up and saw Dennise smiling. "Take a quick nap, I'll wake you up when the food's here, okay?"

Alyssa nodded and closed her eyes, trying to sleep for a while but she couldn't.
