I was waiting in the kitchen for some old friends to come. There would be 4 of us making a prop hunt collab for my channel, and since I hadn't seen them in a while I was hoping to spend some time with them. A knock cut through the silence and I opened the door to see my friends, Lissy,Gracie,and Jocelyn. Let's just say a lot of shouts and squeals of excitement went down as everyone came into the apartment. Lissy lived in Washington with her boyfriend , Ross,Jocelyn lived L.A, not too far away from Mark and I actually, and Gracie lived in London with her boyfriend, Dan. Mark was out with Wade, Bob, and Jack who were visiting, so I had the whole apartment to the girls and I. Everyone caught up with each other which took a good hour. The talk simmered down,"Hey, if we start telling anyone about anything else, that video will be a lost cause.", said Lissy. I smiled, I had to agree with her, we would never stop talking. I stood up and beckoned them to the room where we were doing the collab. Everyone got situated and I hit the record button. "Why how ya doin people it's (your-youtuber-name) and welcome to prop hunt with these absolutely wonderful human beans...."

".....so that's gonna be it for this episode of prop hunt and that's it for now! Give that like button a little tap and I'll catch ya next time! Baiiiiiiii!"

The recording ended and we cheered, "That was soooooo much fun, I really need to introduce it to my channel.", Lissy said while removing her headphones. "That would be awesome!", Jocelyn agreed while doing the same. "So how do you guys feel about getting some coffee at that place right down the street?", I proposed, Gracie grinned, "I have an even better idea.", she looked at Lissy and Jocelyn pointedly and they started smiling as well. I looked at them confused,"So what have you guys got in mind exactly?" They grinned at each other goofily and I sighed and crossed my arms waiting for them to explain what was so secret. Gracie dashed to the kitchen,while the rest of us followed and she pulled out a good sized cake that she must have snuck inside the fridge when everyone was freaking out about seeing each other again. "Happy late 20th birthday!!!" They all shouted. I stood there and started happily grinning along everyone and went to hug them and told them repeatedly they shouldn't have. All of my friends around me again made me happier than a clam, I couldn't wait to see what would happen during their stay.

Lissy, Gracie, Jocelyn and I sat on the couch and in comfy chairs, feeling rather full from the belated birthday cake we all had just inhaled. "Well it's not like you're going to forget this huh?", Jocelyn said at she shook a present toward me. "YAAAASSSS!", I reached out with baby hands and grabbed the gift as I grinned. Inside a small box was 10 small slips of paper. I took them out, flipped them over, and saw that they were plane tickets to Tokyo.
I was speechless and in amazement and all I could do was look at the tickets in awe. "The whole crew is coming!"Lissy said. "And the trip is in 3 and a half weeks, and your schedule is indeed free because we checked with Mark just before we came." Gracie said. I was still in shock but I managed to squeak out,"This must've cost a frickin fortune! How on earth-", "We all pitched in, all the rooms are paid for, we have things planned out to do, we have everything covered!"Jocelyn said. I didn't know how in the world to show them how much this meant to me. I held out my arms and everyone came and hugged me happily, "Thank you guys, Thank you so much!" I said into their arms. I smiled and looked around at my friends, this Alex thing was in the back of my mind and maybe soon it would be forgotten. Maybe.
