*Aure's POV*
I turned around and saw two men holding lightsabers. The droids started to shoot at them, ignoring my men and I for some time. Both of the men fought in sync, their movements were quick and graceful. They sliced through the droids and reflected their shots with the sabers.
'Jedi!' I thought. I had heard about the Jedi and the Force before; their mission was to keep the galaxy save and peaceful. Well, they hadn't done a good job in Naboo.
Thanks to the Jedi's entrance, the droids were not so focused on us, so I thought it was time to fight them too. Soon, all of them were slayed.
The soldiers and I approached the Jedi knights. One was older than the other. He had grey long hair and a beard and he was quite tall. He held a green lightsaber in his hands. The other one was younger, probably between 20 and 25 years old. A thin braid hanged from his short light brown hair. His lightsaber was blue, matching his eyes.
"Thank you so much for your help. My name is Aure Sinder, I am the leader of the Queen's guard," I introduced myself.
"I'm Qui-Gon Jinn," said the older Jedi, shaking my hand. "And this is my apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi." He gestured at the youngest man who stood by his side. He took a step forward and shook my hand with confidence.
"We need to save the Queen before she gets captured," I said with in an urging tone.
The older Jedi nodded and looked at the few soldiers behind me. "You all should stay here to watch over the palace and make sure that no droids enter." I turned to them and nodded, approving of the Jedi's orders.
At that moment, a Gungan joined us. A grabbed a blaster and pointed at him with it. "Who's this?" I asked with a demanding voice.
The youngest Jedi approached me and slowly reached out to lower my weapon. "Calm down. His name is Jar Jar, he's with us. He's harmless." His voice held an accent. I eyed the creature from head to toe; he certainly didn't look dangerous.
The soldiers stayed behind at the palace while I, on the other hand, left with the two Jedi to find the Queen. We heard voices and hid behind a balcony.
We saw the "Queen", her handmaidens and some of our army's men surrounded by droids; Naboo's Governor was also there. It was time to attack.
The Jedi jumped from the balcony and I followed them. We quickly destroyed all the droids and freed the prisoners.
"We should leave the street, your Highness," Qui-Gon told the Queen.
"Get the weapons!" I ordered to the soldiers and they obeyed and took the droids' weapons that had fallen to the floor.
Then, Qui-Gon turned to me and the Queen "We're ambassadors for the Supreme Chancellor."
"You're negotiantions seem to have failed, ambassador." Naboo's Governor said.
"The negotiations never took place," he quickly replied. "It's urgent that we make contact with the Republic."
"They've destroyed all of our communications, there is no way to contact them," I noted.
"Do you have transport?" he asked.
"Yes! In the main hangar. I'll lead you," I answered immediately.
We ran to the main hangar. The door was slightly opened so I looked through it; there were lots of droids watching over the ships.
"There are too many of them," I said. "But I doubt that will be a problem, right, Jedi?" I smirked at the two Jedi. Obi-Wan was always silent and very serious, but I could see he was containing a laugh.
"It won't be a problem, indeed" Qui-Gon answered me with a smile. He turned to the Queen and said "Your Highness, under the circumstances, I suggest that you leave with us to Coruscant."
I had to agree with him; although she wasn't the real Queen, Padmé would go wherever she went; that meant she could be in danger too.
"Thank you, ambassador, but my place is with my people," the Queen told him, exactly what Padmé would have said.
"They will kill you if you stay," I told the Queen.
The decoy sent a quick glance to the real Queen and they held a silent conversation. "I will only leave Naboo if you come with us," she told me. Turning to Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, she added "She's my best knight, my protector."
I nodded, accepting her conditions, and we entered the hangar. A group of pilots were knelt down surrounded by droids. I pointed at them and said "We need to free those pilots."
Obi-Wan extended his arm to stop me from walking to them and said "I'll do that" as he approached the group of pilots.
'Oh, no! I'm not going to stay here doing nothing!' I thought, so I followed him.
He glanced at me and told me "You don't need to come."
"I know, but I'm coming," I simply said, causing him to smirk.
We fought the droids and freed the pilots in a matter of minutes. It was an easy job, these droids aren't really intelligent, but I must say the Jedi fought well.
"Well done" He said to me. I smiled and we entered the spaceship.
*Obi-Wan's POV*
I was quite impressed by Aure's skills; she was very good at fighting, no wonder why she led the Queen's guard.
She smiled at me when I congratulated her for fighting those droids with me. She had a very beautiful sincere smile; probably the most beautiful I had ever seen.
We entered the ship and started it. As soon as we were in space, the Federation's ships started to shoot us. Two of the ship's generators were hit and three droids were sent to repair it. A blue and white droid, a R2 unit, solved our problem and the power was back; we escaped the Federation. However, the hyperdrive was broken, we needed to land somewhere and repair it.
I offered to go to Tatooine and after some arguing, they all agreed. Aure kept silent, she didn't agree or disagree with the idea of going to Tatooine. I thought about talking to her; spacetrips could get boring sometimes. Maybe we could have a nice conversation together on our way to the desert planet and get to know each other. It seemed that this mission would last for some time, so it would be better to get along.
