After Maya told Riley about Ashley's anxiety both girls were having a hard time dealing with that and being together secretly. A week after, on a Tuesday, Riley asked to talk to Maya at lunch.
"You wanted to talk to me?" Maya said approaching Riley's table at the Cafeteria.
"Uh yeah. Come on." Riley said and pulled Maya to the parking lot outside of the school building.
"Listen Maya. I can't do this anymore." The red haired admitted.
"Do what?" Maya asked.
"This. Us. I just can't do this knowing Ashley doesn't have a clue and I just feel like I'm hurting her every time I kiss you or hold you or even look at you. I think we need to break up. I'm obviously not comfortable with this, I thought it would be easy because this is not the first time I've been with someone that had a boyfriend but I didn't care for the other girls, and I do care about you. And I'm sure you're not comfortable with this either." Riley finished.
"Yeah but don't you think we should be together?" Maya said, her eyes filling with tears.
"I do. But maybe it's just a case of the right person at the wrong time." Riley said letting one tear run down her cheek.
"Bye Maya." Riley said kissing the shorter girl's cheek and walking away.
Riley returned to that rugged old couch behind the school building, thinking about everything that just happened. She didn't want to break up with her but she needed to.
Riley reached for the joint in the inner pocket of her leather jacket.
She needed to relax right now.
--------------------------------------------
The next day there was a party, and you know that when there's a party, the troubles come with it.
Riley walked into the house the party was in, looking around. She made sure to dress extra sexy with blue worn out jeans and a dark blue tank top, hoping to find a girl that could distract her mind from a certain blue eyed girl, just for a few hours, because Riley knew she couldn't forget about her completely, and truth is... She didn't want to either.
In her first few steps she already saw a few pretty girls that could do.
They're not as pretty as her.
She shook the thoughts about Maya out of her head and went to get a drink.
--------------------------------------------
Maya was contemplating whether to go to the party or not, finally deciding to go. She wore white ripped skinny jeans with a black tank top.
As she walked in the party she immediately noticed Riley's red hair, she was flirting with a girl.
I guess I should get used to that from now on. Everyone wants to be with Riley and I can totally understand why.
Maya went to the kitchen to avoid the tattooed girl. After about ten minutes she figured it's safe to go out to the living room which was the dance floor, to dance. Maya walked out and she saw Riley again. But she wasn't with that girl, worse, she was with a different girl in a middle of a passionate kiss.
I guess I wasn't that special that she moved on so quickly.
"You've got to be fucking kidding me." Maya muttered quietly but not quietly enough because Riley heard her and stopped her make out session with the girl.
"Maya...." But Maya ignored her and went to the dance floor.
She noticed Ashley as she walked and without thinking she pulled her to a passionate kiss. They started to basically make out on the dance floor and Riley just stared at them, until she decided she had enough.
She pulled the girl outside to her car and drove to her house which was conveniently empty.
They started to kiss and fell on Riley's bed.
"Are you sure about this?" The girl suddenly said breaking the kiss.
Riley didn't say anything she just kissed the girl.
