Chapter 11 - We Meet Again

It's been a week, and a half since I left Detroit. I decided I was gonna try to have fun tonight, I hit up my girlfriend Athena, and we're gonna go to dinner.

Today I wore a black off the shoulder shirt that said bae on the front, black skinny jeans, navy blue Nike air max, and a baseball shirt that has Mathers 8 on the back. For makeup all I wore was eyeliner. I texted Marshall before I left my apartment.

To Marshall (6:14pm) - Hey baby *sends picture of baseball shirt* <33 aha your names on ma shirt.

From Marshall (6:15pm) - Haha that's cute <3 have fun with Athena. I miss you :* oh and I learned how to make a kiss face now I can kiss you virtually.

To Marshall (6:17pm) - Aw that's cute! :* love you I'll talk to you later I'm gonna get in the car <33

I got into my car, and texted Athena that I'm on the way. I plugged my phone into the aux cord, and started to play my music on the way to Athena's apartment. I arrived at Athena's apartment at 6:37 pm, and texted her to let her know I was here.

Athena, and I have been friends since 10th grade. We both failed 10th grade twice because, we'd always ditch school with Devon, and hang out. She is now the only friend I have in New York since Devon left. Athena opened the passenger door, and got into the car. I hugged Athena, and kissed her on the cheek.

"It's so nice to hang out with you! I missed you, I'm sorry we couldn't hang out sooner, I've been busy" I said after pulling away from the hug.

"I've missed you too. No it's okay, I've been busy too. I know you've been busy, with being Marshall Bruce Mathers the thirds girlfriend!! How did it happen?!!" Athena said excited.

"So I went to Detroit to Devon's club, I did my thing, and I met him. Devon already knew Marshall personally, and didn't tell me. Marshall, and Devon planned the whole thing so Marshall could meet me" I said smiling, it felt good talking about Marshall.

"Oh my god, my best friend is dating the sexiest rapper alive! How'd he ask you out?" Athena asked

"He took me to the studio, he had it decked out, and everything. He told me how he knew who I was, and that I was like his celebrity crush. Then he leaned in, and kissed me. I was scared though. Remember what happened with Mark, but I broke down those walls, and let him in. He's really different from what people make him seem like" I said, and it made me really happy.

"Awww!! I had saw the magazine, and the interview you guys are just adorable! Maybe you can get me with fifth" Athena said laughing

"I'll try! I mean how hard can it be, we live in New York, and I have access to the shady records building. Fifth is always there hanging out" I said.

We talked for a while about what has happened in each other's lives when I went to Detroit for two weeks. We arrived at Hunan Balcony around an hour later.  We sat down at our table for the night, and I noticed somebody from across the room. It's Mark. No no no today's supposed to be a good day hanging out with Athena!

"Athena" I whispered

"What?" Athena whispered back

"Marks over there, and he's looking at me. I fucking swear if he starts shit I'm wylin' out!" I said

"Get the fuck outta here" Athena said, and looked around briefly "Oh shit your right b"
