Marshall, and I are back in Detroit but things are super hectic. Marshall suggested I get a manager for myself but I really can't trust anybody.
Anyways though, Marshall's girls are back in school, and we are going to tell them about the engagement when they get home. Kim is also coming over because, we told he we had to talk to her.
I've already showered for the day, so I look through the closet, and find pink, red romper. I throw the romper on, and over it I put on a loose knitted sweater. After I'm done getting dressed, I met up with Marshall who's on the couch in the living room watching football.

"Hey baby" Marshall said, and wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to his body.
"When should Kim, and the girls be here?" I ask while I rest my head on his chest.
"Any minute now" Marshall said after he glanced down at his watch.
"Damn, and I thought it was ten in the morning" I chuckled.
My eyes focused on the television, while Marshall played with my hair. I felt myself right about to fall asleep when a knock was placed on the front door. Marshall got up, and opened the door. I felt nervous, what are they going to say? Will they hate the idea, will they like it?
"Hey Maegan, you feeling okay?" Kim asked, and I lifted my head up.
"I'm good, don't worry" I said, and gave her a reassuring smile.
"So Marshall, what did you have to tell me?" Kim asked.
"Well, why don't we all sit down" Marshall said, Kim, and the girls took a seat down on the couch.
"Okay so I'm just gonna be straight forward with this. Maegan, and I are getting married" Marshall said, and showed them my ring.
"YAY!" Whitney said excited.
"Congrats" Kim said with a big smile.
"Thank you" Marshall, and I said in union.
"When did you propose?" Alaina asked, and I noticed Hailie sat there with no emotion at all.
I had a feeling Hailie wouldn't like that fact that we're getting married, I know she still wishes for Kim, and Marshall to work out. Marshall noticed her facial expression, because he took her upstairs leaving me with Kim, Alaina, and Whitney.
(Marshall's POV)
Everyone was excited that Maegan, and I were getting married except Hailie. I brought her upstairs to her bedroom to talk to her, leaving Maegan downstairs with Whitney, Alaina, and Kim.
"What's wrong?" I asked Hailie, and took a seat at her desk chair while she sat on her bed.
"Nothing's wrong" Hailie said, and laid on her bed hugging her pillow.
"I know something's wrong princess, cmon just tell me" I said.
"I'm happy for you, and Maegan, I really am. It's just that I wish you, and mom would get back together but your both with different people" Hailie said, and I was confused.
"Wait mom is with someone?" I asked.
"Yeah, his name is Lucas" Hailie said.
"Listen I still love your mother that'll never change, we just could never get it together. I wish there was a better way for me to say it but I swear on everything, I'll do anything for her, on any day" I say truthfully. I'll always love Kim, but it was time to move on.
"You know dad, I really like Maegan" Hailie says with a light smile.
"I do too, come on" I say, and we walk back downstairs.

(Maegan's POV)
It's been a while since we told the girls this afternoon. Hailie's okay with it, which made me feel so relieved. The girls are currently up in their rooms, doing their homework while Marshall, and I are sitting down at the dinner table.
"Hey!" I said, an idea had just popped into my head.
"What?" Marshall asked, before dipping his chip in salsa, and eating it.
"Imma call Athena, she hates her job, and she'll probably like being around me more often" I say, and then run off into the living to grab my phone. I get my phone off of the coffee table, and dialed up her number before sitting back down with Marshall at the dinner table.
(Phone Call:
Athena:Hey babes
Maegan: Hey! So answer this, do you like your job?
Athena:I work at Spencer's, I hate my job.
Maegan: Well, how about this. I'm looking for a manager, and I'm thinking my best friend should fill that spot.
Athena: Oh my god, yes!
Maegan: Really? You'll do it?
Athena: Of course!
Maegan: Okay! You start tomorrow haha, talk to you later my love.
Athena: Yay! Byee )
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" I said, and I danced around in my chair.
"She's gonna do it?" Marshall asked.
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" I answered while still dancing in my seat.
"Your so cute" Marshall said, and placed a kiss on my forehead before going into the kitchen.
This is so cool! My best friend is going to be my manager, so that means we'll see each other more than usual. Which equals a happier Maegan.
