Chapter 20 - Surprise Visit

*Almost two weeks later*

I just woke up, today's Thanksgiving. Marshall, and I cooked all last night. We stood up talking while making food. Today's the day I meet his family, wow. Marshall already got out of bed since I hear the shower going. I got out of the bed, and go to take a shower as well. I finish my shower in about half an hour, and get dressed in my outfit I got for today. A white long sleeve crop top, maroon ankle skinny jeans, and my maroon heels. I didn't wear any makeup, I want to be natural, but my inner girl made me put on my matte maroon lipstick.

A couple of hours later it's three pm, and everybody's going to be here soon. I went upstairs to fix myself up before anyone got here.

(Marshall's POV)

Everyone's going to be here soon, and Meghan went upstairs to fix herself up. I pulled out my phone, and texted her mom.

To Marilyn (3:11pm) - Hi Mrs. Garcia, it's Marshall. Just checking to see if your coming.

From Marilyn (3:12pm) - Hi Marshall, please call me Marilyn aha, and yes I'll be there soon!

I read the message, and put my phone away. I watched Meghan come down the stairs. Damn!

"How do I look?" Meghan asked me, I looked at here, and grabbed her hand to turn her around.

"Hot as fuck" I said grinning, I went to kiss her, and there was a knock at the door that made us both jump a little. We linked hands, and walked together to open the door. I opened the door to Kuniva, Bizarre, Swifty, and Denaun. I let them in, we hugged, and shit.

"Damn Meghan looking good" Denaun said chuckling.

"Aye yo bitch she's mine. M. I. N. E" I said looking up, and down at Denaun.

"Yo what ya make" Bizarre asked.

"Keep yo fat ass away from the kitchen" Kuniva told bizarre laughing.

"Yeah we kinda all wanna eat tonight" Swifty said.

"Yo you guys better like the food fuck I made half the shit, Slims not that good of a chef" Meghan said.

"Aye aye nooo" I said showing them my apron "I surprisingly cook" I started to chuckle. There was a knock at the door, and it was probably Marilyn. Meghan got up, and walked to the door to open it.

(Meghan's POV)

I got up, and walked to the door. It was probably Dre, and Nicole. Maybe it was Marshall's kids, and Kim. I opened the door, and my mom stood in front of me.

"Oh my god, mom what are you doing here!" I said excited pulling her into a hug

"Marshall told me to come down" she said, and I felt Marshall arm go around my waist.

"Oh my god you set this up!?" I asked Marshall

"Yup" Marshall said smiling, my mom came in, and we all sat down talking.

"How did you guys plan this without Meghan if you never met?" Denaun asked Marshall, and my mom.

"Some ninja shit" Kuniva said to Denaun

"I took Meghan's phone when she wasn't looking" Marshall said

"So that's why yo ass took so long" I said chuckling

"You guys are adorable, how did you meet?"  My mom asked Marshall, and I

"Devon set it up, I heard her music, and liked her face" Marshall said laughing "Plus she's not like those other gold digging hoes" Marshall said putting his tongue in his cheek to stop him from laughing.

"And that you hear Ms. Garcia" Swifty started talking.

"Is Slim Shady" Bizarre finished his sentence. There was a knock at the door, and Marshall got up to open the door. Dre, and his wife Nicole walked in. I walked over to Dre, and gave him a handshake hug thingy.

"Meghan this is my wife Nicole" Dre said introducing us.

"And Nicole this is my girlfriend Meghan" Marshall said, we hugged, and pulled away.

"It's nice to meet you, I always hear how crazy Marshall is over you" Nicole said with a friendly smile

"It's nice to meet you too, I can say the same Dre's always talking about you" I said giving her a smile, we walked over to the table, and joined in conversations. I introduced my mom to Dre, and his wife. Marshall got up because there was another knock at the door.

"So Meghan how long have you been with Marshall" Nicole asked me

"Almost four months" I answered

"Meghan we haven't seen him this crazy over a girl in a while" Dre said

"Well I guess I'm lucky" I said smiling, Marshall walked over with three girls, and his ex-wife Kim.

"Kim, Laney, Hailie, Whitney this is my girlfriend Meghan" Marshall said with a smile

"Hi Meghan" The girls all said

"Hi girls it's nice to meet you" I smiled, and looked over to Kim.

"Hi it's nice to meet you too" I said to Kim with a friendly smile, Kim pulled me over to the side. Either she's gonna kick me out or we're gonna be cool.

"Meghan I think you should know this" Kim whispered to me.
