Chapter 73 - Blessings

(Tuesday, September, 2nd, 2011)

Today I woke up pretty early since I'm going to see Maegan's mom at twelve. While getting dressed, and ready for the day I talked to Maegan on the phone. We talked about rehearsals for her performance since she's excited. She wants to make her performance feel like the music video, so she's trying to get a Ferris wheel.

Today I'm wearing a pair of gray cargo pants, a pair of timberlands, a light gray shirt, and a kangol hat. I grab my things that I need, and leave Maegan's apartment. Security gets me into a car without fans noticing, and the driver takes off to Marilyn's house.

When the car stops, and the driver tells me we're here security helps me get to the door safe. I open up the sliver gate, and walk up the stairs to the front porch. I knocked on the door, and while I waited I looked around Maegan's old block. Marilyn opened the door, and wrapped me in a hug. Security left, and she brought me upstairs.

"So where's Maegan?" Marilyn asked while making coffee, and I sat down at her kitchen table.

"She's in Detroit, but she's actually the reason I wanted to come here, and talk to you" I said, and then took a sip of my water.

"Why? Is everything good between you two?" Marilyn asks, and sat down at the kitchen table with me.

"Everything is good but, as you know I love Maegan so much. She is the most beautiful, intelligent women anyone could ever ask for. I would like to ask her to marry me, and I'm here today to ask you for your blessing" I said with a little smile on my face.

"You have it aight, where's the ring?!" Marilyn says excited, I pull the box out of my pocket, and open it.

"Marshall that's gorgeous" Marilyn says while holding the box in her hand.

"Do you think she'll like it?" I ask.

"I think Maegan will love it, when are you gonna do it?" Marilyn asks.

"I'm gonna do it at the VMA's" I say

"In front of all those people?" Marilyn asks.

"Yup, I want the whole world to know my love for her. It's been a while since I've felt this way with anyone, and ever since I met Maegan she changed everything in the best way" I say smiling.

(A/N: Okay, so I'm changing the story a bit just so it can fit with what's going to happen soon. The story takes place in 2010 then goes into 2011, also Maegan, and Marshall's ages are different. Maegan is 34, and Marshall is 38. Understand?
