Chapter 14 - Award Show

(Five Days Later)

Today is the MTV awards! Marshall, and I arrived here last night. We're currently getting ready, I'm so excited to be on stage with Marshall! I didn't want anyone touching my face so I finished my makeup, and walked out of the bathroom.

"You ready babygirl" Marshall said as I walked out of the bathroom

"Yeah, I'm a little nervous" I said

"Nothing to be nervous about, I'm gonna be by your side the whole night" Marshall said before he leaned in, and kissed my cheek.

We left the room, and went to go find our seats since we decided to skip taking pictures. I'm wearing my red dress with nude heels. For my makeup I did a winged eyeliner that's so sharp that can cut a bitch, gold eyeshadow that's beautiful as fuck, and a red lipstick.

Marshall kept his hand linked with mine the time, he kept his hard face on but when he looked at me he gave me a little smile. They started announcing the nominees for artist on the rise, and my face came up on the screen!! I didn't even know I was nominated for anything. I looked over to Marshall, he gave me a little smile, and held my hand with both of his hands.

"This can't be true! I'm nominated for an award!" I said in Marshall's ear. He looked at me before they announced the winner, and said

"Well it is true" Marshall said

"And the winner is MG!" I kept my hard face on, and walked up with Marshall.

"Um wow I didn't even expect this to happen, thanks everyone for voting! I couldn't get this award with out you, and maybe lil white boy over there" I said pointing to Marshall standing behind me. We walked off the stage, and I was so jittery! Marshall, and I linked our hands as we sat back down. Marshall leaned over, and kissed my cheek.

"Congratulations baby! Your first award" Marshall said into my ear

"Thanks" I said breaking my hard face with a smile. Marshall, and I walked backstage.

We changed into our outfits, because Marshall, and I are about to go on stage. I'm so nervous right now, this is the biggest crowd I've ever been I front of. Here goes nothing.

After Marshall performed, and I was hyping the crowd up it was my time to announce the best hip hop award, wow me unreal.

"Wow this is kinda unreal that I'm here announcing the hip hop award, but lets get started here are the nominees" I said before the nominees came out on the screen behind me.

"Best hip hop, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Jay Z, Drake, Kanye West, Eminem" The screen annouced

"Aight so the award for best hip hop, are you ready?" I opened the card "Wow what a coincidence, ladies, and gentlemen. Eminem!" I said into the microphone. Marshall walked up onto the stage, and I handed him the award. I hugged him, and whispered in his ear a congrats.

Hours later the award show was over. Marshall, the guys, and I decided to chill in hotel. We wanna have our own fun instead of seeing drunks everywhere. I kicked off my heels, and cuddled up against Marshall who was sitting next to me. I kissed his cheek, and he grabbed my award off of the table. Marshall put up the award in the air

"To Meghan's first award in the Shady family" Marshall said smiling at me. Royce, D12, and Dre all clapped their hands.

"Hey hey, lets not put this all on me. Mr most awards of the night" I said nudging Marshall in the arm.

"This night couldn't get any better, I'm with my baby, and my best friends" Marshall said smiling before he kissed me on the lips. Life has gotten so much better, too good, I feel like somethings gonna happen soon. Boy do I hope not.
