Chapter 35 - Bestfriend (New Years Eve Part II)

(A/N: Since the day I'm writing this is April, 11th, 2016 this chapter is a tribute to Em's best friend DeShaun Dupree Holton also known as Proof. Rest in peace Proof you may be gone but your never over!)

(Marshall's POV)

Meghan, and I walked out of the studio meeting back up with everybody in the living room. Once again there was another knock at the door, and walked to the door. My beautiful girls were standing at the door. My little girls are growing up so big, and beautiful.

"Where's your mom at?" I asked before letting them into the house.

"She's coming she's in the car doing something" Hailie said.

"Okay, everyone's in the living room go say hi" I said, and all three of them walked to the living room. I poked my head out the front door, and Kim was walking from her car.

"Yo" I shouted.

"Shit Marshall, you scared the crap outta me" Kim said holding her chest.

"Need some toilet paper?" I asked.

"Oh shut up" Kim said, and walked into the house.

Since the music in the house was very loud, everyone was dancing, and having conversations it was easy to talk to Meghan without anyone hearing our conversation. We sat down in the same chair, with my arm around her.

"You know what?" I whispered into Meghan's ear.

"What?" She whispered back.

"You know who Proof was right?" I asked her.

"Yeah, of course I know" Meghan said

"Well just so you know, I think Proof would've liked you. I mean he's probably happy for me that I moved on, and found someone" I said, and smiled thinking about my best friend.

"I wish I was able to meet Proof. I remember when the group kidnapped you on TRL back in o' four. I remember I was like these are the funniest guys ever, it would be so cool to be their friend. Look at me now" Meghan said smiling

"Yeah that was funny" I said, and held Meghan closer to me. We were both watching everybody dancing, and having a good time. Looking at everyone dancing I saw a face that couldn't be real. We met eyes, and I pointed at him telling him to go into the studio. I excused myself from Meghan, and walked into the studio.

"Hey doody what's good, long time no see buddy" Proof said with a smile sitting down on the couch.

"Who drugged my drink? Proof your dead.." I said confused. 

"Doody can't I come visit you? I maybe dead but I can still make visits" Proof explained.

"If this is really you, and you make visits. Then what happened with me, and Meghan?" I asked him.

"You cheated on her with a slut. Doody if you were gonna cheat, you could've done better.. Don't do it again to Meghan though! I like her she's dope. You deserved them hits in the face" Proof said.

"Um.. What is something we'd only know?" I asked.

"You went running around naked outside high once, and I went outside to do something. That was the worst thing ever. Speaking of seeing dick, you hit yet?!" Proof said.

"Oh my god Proof this is you" I said covering my mouth in shock.

"You didn't answer my question!" Proof said then started laughing.

"No I didn't, she's not ready" I answered his question.

"Is that why you cheated?" Proof asked me.

"Yes.." I answered honestly. 

"You dick" Proof said laughing.

"Shut up, more important though. Can anyone else see you?" I asked.

"Nope, I'm here for you bud. Uh but it's 10 minutes till the new year. I suggest we get back there, Meghan will come in here thinking she's dating a psychopath that talks to himself" Proof said, and I rolled my eyes.

"This is why we're a good couple, Meghan, and I are both crazy" I said, and walked out of the studio with Proof behind me. I sat down next to Meghan who was talking to Athena, her mother, and Nicole.

"Hello ladies" I said waving my hand

"How's it going Slim?" Nicole asked me

"Good, good. You?" I said

"Listen Slim I'm taking your girl dress shopping, look what she has under her dress" Nicole said, I looked at Meghan for permission, and she nodded her head.

This girl is crazy. Meghan's wearing basketball shorts under her dress. 

"Yo, look at her bush, does it got hair?" Proof whispered in my ear. I rolled my eyes, and laughed inside my head.
