"Reese, you need to talk to me." Mom said, calmly as she put her fork down. We were eating breakfast, since it was Saturday, we at breakfast later than usual.

"What do you want me to say mom? Thanks for telling me my dad was alive after all these years!?" I yelled back at my mom, as she looked at me with her grey eyes.

Mom and I didn't have the same eyes, but we did have the same hair color.

"You have to talk to me, there's a reason I needed to talk to you." She said, as I let out a frustrated groan.

"What is it mom!? So you can tell me I have a twin brother!?" I yelled, exaggerating the last part. It was needed for the dramatic effect.

"You don't have a twin brother, but you need to listen to me." Mom said, as she grabbed my shoulders.

"Your dad wants to meet you." Mom said calmly, as she let go on my shoulders.

"What!? No way, he hasn't even been here for me, for us our while lives!" I yelled, as I slammed my fists against the table.

"Reese, I already said yes. Your meeting him soon, because we are going to meet him at a caffè in New York." Mom said, as my eyes widened.

One, I really didn't want to drive down to New York to meet someone that obviously didn't want to be there for my whole life. Two, he didn't deserve to meet me. If we wanted to, he could at least come to New Jersey where we lived.

"I'm not going, mom! I hate him, he left us here! He's an asshole!" I yelled, as I stood up from the table. He thought we weren't good enough for him, so he must of left us because of that.

"Reese, just meet him, please. I think he lives in New York, but he called me last week and I said yes. He really wants to meet you, Reese. Come on you need to go, do it for me." Mom looked at me with pleading eyes.

I sat down, and rubbed my temples. He left my mother and I years ago, when I was born. But my mother really wanted this, so I had to do it, for her.

"Fine, I'll do it!" I said, as my mother hugged me. Tears fell down on her cheeks, as I hugged my mom. Mom had been the emotional one, she could cry at the most simplest things.

I guess I didn't get that from her, since I was more tough.

"Okay, we leave in a hour, so get ready." Mom said, as I sighed, as ran to my room.

Time for one of the biggest days in my life.
