Father Levi x Mother Reader

Levi's POV

Finally some piece of quiet. "Daddy?" Never mind. I groaned quietly and lifted my head up. I saw (Child's Name) with her/his little blanket. "What's the matter little brat." I just wanted to sleep but guess not. "Can I sleep with you tonight?" He/She asked and I raised an eyebrow. "Why? Don't tell me you wet the bed again." I deadpanned and saw him/her shake his/her head. "No its just dark in there and I don't want titans to come out from my closet." So the little brat is afraid. Good thing (Reader) helped me with my "cussing" problem or else I would have said a lot of bad things to her/him and I would end up in trouble.

I sighed. "Fine." She/He beamed with happiness and hopped on the bed. (Child's Name) has really unique eyes. One eye is a different color from the other. Like one eye color he/she got from (Reader) and the other color from me. (Child's Name) got (Reader) hair color but my skin tone. "Daddy where's mommy?" I always hate it when he/she asks me this question. Usually I lie to him/her but now that he's/she's older its time for the truth. "She's killing titans." I said monotone. "Titans? So she's fighting uncle Eren?" Who told this kid that Eren is a titan?! "No (Child's Name). She's on an expedition with the Survey Corps." She/He blinked then looked down. Another thing is that we take turns when we go on the expeditions. Just for safe reasons. Mostly so that if one of us dies, (Child Name) still has the other. "When will she back?" He/She asked after a couple of seconds. "I don't know." I replied truthfully. "Go to bed. Who knows, she may come back tomorrow." I said that to make him/her go to sleep. And I was right, she/he immediately fell asleep. I'm just hoping (Reader) does come back tomorrow. I'm not going to admit it out loud but I miss her.

~morning time~

Reader's POV

"I can't wait to see Levi and (Child's Name)." I claim sighing happily. We're currently riding back from the expedition. Of course we did lose soldiers and killed titans but that's to be expected. Hanji is a good friend of mine who unfortunately isn't on good terms with Levi. She gave her laugh. "Maybe (Child's Name) drove shortie crazy." I chuckled at her statement. Hanji actually convinced Erwin to retreat. I placed a hand on my stomach and gave a small smile. "Do you think they miss me?" I asked the titan crazed woman. "Of course! I don't know about shortie since he doesn't show emotion but I know (Child's Name) does!" She told me.

"Why did we retreat?" Eren asked riding up to us. "Its something that we found out." I told him. Eren nodded his head then slowed his horse down so he can talk to his friends. "They all look up to you ya know?" Hanji said and I just smiled. "I know. Ever since Levi and I got married, the young cadets look at me as a 'motherly figure'. Its cute when they're overprotective over (Child's Name)." Hanji rolled her eyes. "Oh please. All Levi has to do is give his infamous glare and everyone is running." I giggle knowing its true. "We're almost there!" Hanji yells out to everyone. "Almost near my family." I whispered. We rode fast and in an hour or two, we made it back to the walls. I didn't waste time to go back to the headquarters and just went to my house. I dismounted my horse and opened the door. "I'm back!" Not a second later I heard my baby's voice.

Levi's POV

"I'm back!" Finally! (Child's Name) quickly ran to her. "Mommy!" He/She hugged her tight and (Reader) chuckled and hugged back. "How's my little soldier?" She asked to which (Child's Name) replied. "Better now that you're back!" I came out of the room. "Daddy! Mommy came back!" She/He exclaimed. "I can tell." (Reader) giggled while holding (Child's Name).

"What happened? You're back early." Its only been two months which is strange. "Hanji and I found out something and Erwin made us retreat." I rose an eyebrow at her. "And that is?" She looked around nervously. The only time she did that was when she was telling me that she was pregnant. "W-Well Hanji noticed my weird behavior and listed down the symptoms I was having. She came down to a conclusion that I.........Levi I'm pregnant again." I froze on the spot when she finished. Again?! "I'm going to be a big brother/sister?!" (Child's Name) yelled out excitedly and (Reader) nodded. (Reader) almost murdered me when she was first pregnant and now the same thing is going to happen again. "Levi?" (Reader)'s soft voice rang through my ears and I looked at her. She seemed nervous or scared. Does she really think that I don't want the child? We already have (Child's Name) so we can handle another. Plus it was my fault for starting it a couple weeks before the expedition. Shit I should have known when she was vomiting. The expedition could of killed the baby, her, or both. "Don't worry. I'm glad that you're safe and as well as the baby. I may not show it but I do feel it. I-We missed you." I gave her the tiniest smile and she smiled back. "Well I missed you guys a lot too." (Child's Name) started snuggling up to (Reader). "Hm life as an Ackerman sure is great." (Reader) said and I grabbed her chin making her look at me. I kissed her lips and pulled away seeing that she had a small blush. "I couldn't agree more."
