Kageyama stepped into the gym, now hoping to avoid Hinata. Everybody in the gym faced him. "Hey, Kageyama!" Tanaka shouted, waving him over. Kageyama completely ignored him. Tanaka turned back towards the rest of the teammates.

"Is it just me, or does Kageyama seem angry or upset?" He said in a hushed tone. Nishinoya laughed.

"He's normally like that, isn't he?" He asked. Sugawara thought for a for a few seconds.

"No, Tanaka's right. Kageyama seems a bit.. off." He responded. "Do you know if anything happened between him and Hinata?" He asked. Everyone around him shook their head.

"Why do you think it was him and Hinata?" Tanaka asked.

"Look how Kageyama is completely ignoring him. They would normally be talking or fighting or something. But they're on opposite ends of the court, not even looking at each other." Sugawara stated.

"They seemed fine yesterday." Nishinoya replied. They heard loud footsteps and turned around. They saw Hinata look toward Kageyama, giving dirty looks towards him. They all turned back. "Something definitely happened between them." Nishinoya said. Sugawara rolled his eyes.

"That's what I was trying to say. Whatever happened, don't ask." He replied. The group nodded. They all set up the nets, Kageyama and Hinata staying as far away from each other as they could.

"Okay everyone. We'll be doing two 3v3 games now. Kageyama, Hinata and Nishinoya over here," Daichi explained, pointing to one side of the right net. "and versing them will be Tsukishima, Tanaka and Sugawara." He continued. "Everyone else is on the other side, and I will choose the teams there." He finished. The team nodded and walked to wherever they were supposed to go. Sugawara pulled Daichi over to the side of the court.

"Are you sure it was a good idea to put Kageyama and Hinata on the same team?" Sugawara asked. Daichi nodded and laughed a little.

"Well, if there is something going on between them we'll be able to tell. They're usually on the same team anyway." Daichi said. Sugawara smiled.

"Well then, good luck." He said. Daichi nodded. Everybody got onto court in their respective positions. Kageyama looked to see Hinata standing ready, looking tense though still excited.

"Go Shouyou!" An unrecognisable, yet slightly familiar to Kageyama, voice rang out. Everybody turned to the balcony where the voice came from. Kageyama felt a jolt of anger run through him when he saw who it was. It's the girl who kissed Hinata.

"Thanks Tamiko!" Hinata shouted back, smiling yet again.

"Oooh, who's that?" Tanaka asked from the other side of the court.

"Oh, that's Tamiko. She's.." Hinata trailed off, looking directly to Kageyama, "my girlfriend!" He finished. The same jolt that blew through Kageyama before intensified, forcing him to walk directly towards Hinata. He lifted him up by the collar.

"What did you say she was to you?" He asked, even though he already knew the answer.

"I said, she is my girlfriend!" Hinata replied, trying to loosen Kageyama's grip on him.

"Girlfriend?" Kageyama asked. Hinata nodded. Kageyama had never really pictured Hinata having a girlfriend, or any romantic partner (other than Kageyama himself) in general.

"Hey, you'd better let go of Shouyou! You're injuring him before a game!" Tamiko yelled from the balcony. Kageyama dropped Hinata. Literally. Hinata landed with a thud on the ground, but got up as quick as he fell. They began the game. Kageyama couldn't concentrate because the only thing he could hear were Tamiko's screams whenever Hinata touched at the ball. Kageyama wanted nothing more than for her the shut the hell up. Kageyama's tosses to Hinata became more lazy throughout the game in an attempt for her to shut up. But it backfired because whenever Hinata missed the ball she would shout something like 'It's okay, you'll get the next one, Shouyou!'. Why does she call him Shouyou?! Kageyama sighed. Soon the practice games were over, and Kageyama's team lost by quite a lot. Tamiko ran towards Hinata. She hugged him. But for a split second, Hinata seemed hesitant to hug back. That left Kageyama with a glint of hope for approximately one second.

"Good try, Hinata!" She said. She looked directly at Kageyama, giving him a dirty look. Hinata pulled back. She leaned in for a kiss, but Hinata turned away as soon as he noticed what she was doing.

"Oi, Hinata. I need to talk to you." Kageyama said blandly.

"Okay then." Hinata replied. Kageyama dragged him over to the side of the gym.

"So, I see you've got yourself a girlfriend." Kageyama stated.

"Well, you're not wrong." Hinata replied. I can't let him know the reason why. He thought.

Kageyama couldn't think of anything else to say. Then he thought of something.

"You two haven't kissed yet, have you?" He asked. Hinata's face turned red.

"N-No. Why do you ask?" He stuttered out.

"You didn't exactly seem to mind.. me.. kissing you but you won't kiss your.. girlfriend. I saw you move away from her kiss before." Kageyama said. He has absolutely no idea where he was going with this, but he was just gonna let himself keep saying random crap until it made sense. But it seemed to affect Hinata a bit.

"I mean, I-I like girls too, but guys are.." He trailed off, unsure of what to say.

"Wait, the night I kissed you, you said your girlfriend - Tamiko, whatever her name is - said that she could change you into liking girls because you liked guys. What? Has that all changed now? Have you changed your sexuality in a matter of days?" Kageyama said, knowing he may probably hurt Hinata saying this. But he's not gonna hold back.

"No.. no. I love Tamiko and Tamiko alone. All this stuff with you was a lie. I was seeing how you would react. I don't know why I'd love you." Hinata replied blatantly. Kageyama guessed that this was a massive lie in an attempt to upset him. But deep down he couldn't stop worrying if what Hinata was saying was all true. What if Kageyama had kissed him and he didn't want it? What if all Kageyama's feelings for him were fabricated just so Hinata could stand back and watch him burn? Hinata wouldn't do something like that, would he? Kageyama thought.

"That's not like you at all, Hinata. You've just-" He began but got cut off.

"Tamiko, come over here!" Hinata interrupted in his the specific cheery voice he hardly uses outside of volleyball. Tamiko walked over and hugged him tight.

"Okay. Sorry for bothering you like this, Hinata. You go and spend time with your girlfriend, leave me out of it all." He said. Tamiko stuck her tongue out at him without Hinata knowing.

"That's fine. We didn't need you here anyway." Hinata replied, trying to act confident. Kageyama glared at Tamiko, then Hinata.

"Fine. Your setter will be leaving." Kageyama said. Hinata's face softened in worry for a second, then returned to its trying-to-be-confident face. "Hey Daichi, I'm not feeling my best, is it okay if I leave practice early today?" Kageyama shouted out to Daichi. He turned and nodded. Kageyama collected all his stuff and left. He looked in the door one more time. Tamiko was cuddling up to Hinata, while Hinata seemed just the slightest bit uncomfortable. He walked all the way home, not bothering to catch the bus. He lay on his bed, chucking his volleyball in the air and catching it.

I'm really going to leave the thing I love most just so I can see how he'll react. I shouldn't be involving myself in Hinata's personal life, but I need to know the truth.

Am I really going to go this far just because Hinata got a.. 'girlfriend'?

A/N: I'm sorry if none of this makes sense anymore I'm just trying to add some drama (and as you can tell I'm not very good at it)
