"Good job, everyone. We all seem to be.. coping quite well." Daichi said. Hinata felt a jolt of anger and sadness run through him, remembering Kageyama won't join him here. He pursed his lips, trying to hold back more tears. Daichi announced that practise was over, and everyone else slowly dispersed out. Yamaguchi walked up to Hinata, Tsukishima a few feet behind him.

"Hey." Yamaguchi said, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.

"Hi?" Hinata said, though it was more of a question. He didn't exactly want to talk right now. All he wanted to do was go home, lie on his bed and do nothing.

"I.. uh.. h-have a question to ask." Yamaguchi stuttered out. Hinata didn't know what Yamaguchi would ask him, even though they were friends. And why was he stuttering?

"Hinata, do you like Kageyama?" He asked. Hinata was shocked that Yamaguchi, of all people, would ask this.

"Uh.. yeah. A-As in, I like him as a teammate!  A.. friend." Hinata replied. Tsukishima laughed and Hinata attempted an intimidating glare at him. It didn't work.

"No, he meant as in like like. You know. Love." Tsukishima said blatantly. Hinata stared in surprise, not expecting to hear these words from someone he was supposed to dislike. His hands began to get sweaty due to sudden nerves.

"N-No. Not at all." Hinata replied, though the blush beginning to cover his face told another story. Tsukishima walked right up to him, standing almost directly in front of Hinata. He was completely intimidated by him.

"You obviously miss him, right?" Tsukishima said. Hinata nodded. "You'd do anything to get him back." Hinata nodded once again. "You made up this whole romance, just to get Kageyama back?" He stated, though that last sentence was more like a question. Nevertheless, it hit Hinata hard.

"H-How did you know that?" Hinata asked. Tsukishima laughed again. Yamaguchi was trying to stop him before he said anything else.

"Tsukki-" He began, but was interrupted by Tsukishima going back to talk to Hinata.

"I've seen love before," He glanced towards Yamaguchi and awkwardly cleared his throat. He turned back to Hinata. "what's between you and Tamiko is fake, I - or pretty much anyone - can tell from afar. But the air between you and Kageyama was different. You admired him so much, that that admiration turned to love. You're so blind to it though. And so is Kageyama." Tsukishima explained. Hinata looked shocked, and a pang hit his chest.

"No. That's not right," He retorted. He balled his hand into a fist, "and what would you care? You hate both me and Kageyama! You don't have any right to be saying any of that!" Hinata shouted, attempting to grab Tsukishima's collar to be intimidating. But, since their obvious height difference, Hinata didn't fully reach. Tsukishima easily plucked Hinata off and stood back. He then walked towards the door. Yamaguchi bowed in sorrow and followed him. Hinata stayed still, not wanting to move.

"Hinata, you're not fooling anyone." Tsukishima said, emmiting what seemed like a weak attempt at a laugh. He smirked and walked out. Hinata stood, wondering if he should stop trying to hide it.

"Maybe he's right." He whispered to himself. "Does that mean I have to break up with Tamiko?" He asked himself, then left the gym.

When he arrived at home, he dropped his bag and ran to his room. He collapsed on his bed. He grabbed his phone, and went to message Tamiko. He swallowed the lump in his throat, feeling horrible. He tapped the screen, then thought for a minute. I'm so sorry, Tamiko. He thought, then hit send. He then went to message Kageyama. He didn't want it to be true that Kageyama was leaving, so he was going to confirm it.
