Day 11

Di ako magpapaiyak ngayon dahil birthday na ni Meng in less than 30mins. Yey!!!

Thank you ulit sa pagbabasa kahit sinasaktan ko kayo. Hahahaha. Here's the update! Sabi ko kahapon I'll update tomorrow. Umabot pa ko. Mehehehehe.

Day 11

"I'll pick up Matti. Intayin nyo na lang ako dyan."

"Sige Meng. Dalian mo at namimiss ka na ng pamangkin mo."

I woke up with a call from Ate Niki that Matti wants to see me today. I agreed to pick him up and maybe spend the whole day with him.

I passed by at Conti's and bought Ate Niki's favorite. I went straight to their house and was welcomed by Kuya John.

"Hi Menggay!"

"Hi Kuya! I leaned in to give Kuya a kiss. He was holding a spatula and I assumed he was cooking when I came.

"Si Ate mo nasa taas binibihisan si Matti. Alam mo bang sobrang excited nya nung malaman niyang aalis kayo?"

Even though I'm at New York, Ate Niki and Kuya John always visits me. Of course, they bring along Matti and he grew up a very sweet kid. We always talk on Skype and he tells stories about how his day was. And he always misses me because I'm his favorite Tita Ninang.

"Daddy! Is Tita Ninang here already?" I heard his footsteps as he walked closer to us. His face lit up when he saw me and showered me with hugs and kisses.

"Tita Ninang I missed you!"

"I missed you too, Mattuti!" I said while I pinched his chubby cheeks.

"Where are we going today?"

"Hmmm, san mo ba gusto?"

"Let's go to the mall, and to the park and to the carnival and-"

"Hey Matti, baka naman pagurin mo si Tita Ninang mo nyan ha?" Kuya John interrupted.

"Okay lang Kuya. Date namin ni Mattuti ngayon. Sige alis na kami para di kami gabihin." I looked at Matti whose face shows his excitement and held his hand. "Let's go?"

He nodded and put his little backpack on his back. "Bye Mommy, bye Daddy." He kissed his parents and went inside the car.

I was driving while he kept on talking about his school. I brought him to the mall because I wanted to buy him some toys. Magagalit na naman sila Ate dahil masyadong spoiled 'tong batang 'to sakin.

We were strolling on the mall and Matti kept on talking. I was fascinated with how smart he was and proud that his parents had done a very good job of raising Matti. He was well-mannered, polite and a very jolly kid.

"Tita Ninang? Where is Tito Ninong?" I was taken aback with his question but I kinda expected this already. Back when I flew to New York after RJ and I broke up, Matti's first words to me on the skype was "where's tito ninong?" He had gotten really close with Matti because we were always baby sitting him when I still lived with them. I smiled at him before I answered.

"I haven't talked to him pa e. You miss him?"

"He visits me at school whenever he's not busy. We always play after his work."

RJ still visits Matti at school? RJ had always loved kids and I didn't expect that he still meets Matti even after we broke up. Has he told Matti about us?

"Oh. Does he says something about me?"

"I asked him once why aren't you together. He said you were busy, and thats what Mom says too." Maybe he still haven't told him we broke up. Ano kayang magiging reaksyon ni Matti?
