For Harvey: A date with Niall

Hi :)

So I know I said I won't be posting for a while but I actually have too much time at the moment cos we have a four day holiday and I can't possibly study all the time so I'm going to be writing a bit more these few days so I can't post them on the coming Saturdays. This will be the last post for this week.

After many tries, Niall finally convinces you to go out with him. He wants you to give him a chance to prove that he can be a great boyfriend. Just as you finish applying your lip gloss, the bell rings. You grab your purse and quickly open the door. Niall is there with a bunch of roses- your favorite- and is smiling nervously.

"Hey Harvey. These are for you." He says nervously and hands you the flowers.

"Hey. That's sweet. Thanks." You say and place the flowers in an empty vase you just got yesterday. He takes your hand after you have locked your door and leads you to his car.

"You look really nice." He compliments, sounding a little more confident. You blush and thank him. After about twenty minutes, you finally reach. You look around to see that there is no restaurant or anything around. Your heart starts beating a little faster and you get a little nervous as Niall opens the door of your side of the car.

"Uh Niall, where are we? I thought we are going for a dinner and then a movie?" You ask as you fidget with your bracelet.

"That's exactly what we are doing." He says and notices your nervousness. "Harvey love, don't worry. Come with me." He says as he takes your hand. He puts a hand over your eyes and leads you somewhere. After a minute or two, he stops.

"Ready?" He asks. You nod, unable to keep the curiosity any longer. He lifts his hand and what you see leaves your shocked. There is a table with roses in the middle and two chairs opposite each other under a shade. The food is already placed on the table. To the side, there is a mattress on the ground with pillows and a huge screen set up in front of it with a projector. You turn to Niall with your mouth wide open. He grins at you.

"Like it?" He asks. You look at him like he has grown two heads.

"Like it? I love it! Thank you!" You exclaim and hug him. He doesn't react first, feeling shocked but then he hugs you back. After you pull away, you make your way towards the table. He pulls out the seat for you like a gentleman and you blush. When you take the first bite of the food, you groan.

"This is so good!" You exclaim with your mouth full.

"I made it." Niall states. Your eyes open wide in shock.

"Are you serious? Oh my god you are the best cook ever!" You say when he nods. He thanks you. After you have eaten until you can't eat anymore, the two of you lie down on the mattress. He presses play on a remote and your favorite movie starts!

"How did you know I like this movie?" You ask him.

"I have sources." He smirks. You smile and snuggle close to him. He places an arm around you and the two of you sit this way throughout the movie. After the movie he drops you back to your house. He follows you to your door.

"So, did you have fun?" He asks you, the nervousness back in his voice. You pretend to think, just to tease him a little.

"Yes!" You exclaim and he relaxes.

"Scared me for a second." He says. "Have I passed the test?" You bite your lip and look at him. You lean in and peck his lips lightly. When you pull back, you can see his eyes a wide open. Slowly, he grins and gives you a proper kiss.

"Guess you know what that means." You say and he nods. You finally say goodbye and go back into your house. Best. Date. Ever.
