The Waking Night

Sam's POV
Me and Yuki didn't talk all day. We only gave each other sideways glances. I walked home alone, without Taurtis, I just need time to think.....
I threw all my stuff from school on the ground and went to my bed on the bottom bunk.
The only thing running through my mind is 'does she like me back?'.....part of me wanted to say yes but the rational part of me says no. I wish I was four again, so I could just kick and scream and get my way.......my way......my way is with her......she lights up my path...the piece of the puzzle that holds my heart together.......and if I'm right, this is love.....only if I knew how she felt.
Yuki's POV

I walked to the balcony and started singing.....I don't know why....I just heard someone else singing the parts I didn't. It reminded me of.....them....
The lyrics just fell into place as the other person fixed them. There was my voice then there's, in perfect harmony. I feel like this is them, the person I've been looking for......, the person I love..
I can just smile at the memory of us singing:

It feels like we fit perfectly together, yet that same thought came into my head 'do they like me back?' And that's the thought that made me stay up, a waking night, no sleep. All because of that one question.....yet love has its ups and downs but in the end you'll hold hand in hand with the one you truly love.......
