"No."
"No?"
"You are not going to be coming with us. Apple seems to not want you around and I am perfectly capable of keeping her safe."
"Listen, Sébastien," my eyes widened in shock, "yes, I know your name. Anyhow, I must accompany you on this little outing, you see. I am her guardian angel, therefore only I am needed to perform such a task as protecting Miss Apple Wager, no?"
"You are not needed, Angel. There is a reason I escaped from you. I do not want to be around you."
"Why not?"
"I feel as though you are not a good angel if you even are an angel."
Angel smirked as Marmadue crept closer. The small boy kept his eyes on the one who looked like he could be the older sibling to the twins. The two twins looked at each other in horror. Marmadue must have been reading Angel's soul. I wonder what he got from it. Obviously something horrible to get that reaction out of him. Is he one of the men that came searching for Apple? Surely he must not. It must be something else.
"Sir, I must ask you to leave," Marmadue said firmly.
Angel laughed a little, "Well, little soul reader, you think that I am about to listen to the likes of you? Surely you must know that a being such as yourself is nothing compared to me, no?"
"I do not appreciate such a vile being in mine and my sister's accommodations. If you would kindly leave-though none of your kind does anything kindly-that would be swell. I do not take kindly to you creatures and neither does Belle."
"What do you mean by vile, Marmadue? What is he?" I inquired.
"One of the most vile creatures in existence. The only thing more gruesome than this beast is the Beast himself, his father," Marmadue answered, eyes narrowing.
"Who is?"
"You do not want to know, Sébastien, Apple. It is too vicious a being for you to know."
Apple ignored everything that was going on. She had been staring at the supposed vile being. No, stared was not the correct word for that... glared? Shot knives at? No matter, the fact of the matter is, she was beyond furious and he was the creator of that emotion she now felt.
Angel started to go over to Apple and she took a knife from the table she had moved toward, holding it out in front of her. I neither noticed her move to the table, nor see the movements she took to grab the weapon from behind her.
"I will use this. I know all the places to kill with this knife. I do not know how I do, but I just know," she hissed at the red eyed boy. That is when I realized what Marmadue meant. Angel is no guardian angel, but more like a stalker demon. Vile creature and the only thing worse than that beast was the Beast himself, his father. The Beast must be Lucifer, the devil, Satan, whatever you may call him.
"Yes, Sébastien, that is who my father is and what I am. Good job. And, Apple, I see that your memory is slowly coming back. You know how to do it; why you know, how you know, where you come from? Those you will find out eventually."
"England. I come from England."
"Yes, but where in England?"
She froze and turned to me, "You know what he is too? I figured it out not long after after Marmadue started his speech on how vile this boy is."
I nodded, "I do. How long has he been following you exactly?"
"From what I can remember, I met him the day I started remembering again. The day that I was at the woman's house and her baby died. That is the day that I met him."
