I stood, shocked, waiting to see Jett's reaction to Gian punching him in the face. Jett straightened up, ready to attack. He grasped Gian by the neck and slammed him against the weapons rack.
I did not know how to react, so I just stood there, shocked. I wanted to rush in and stop them, but I did not know how dangerous it would be when Jett is actually fighting.
Blaise pushed me behind him so that I would not get injured. Wow, he can actually be nice? Who would have thought? I tried to move out from behind him, but he held me in place.
"I would stay out of the way if I were you, Ginger. We do not know how much danger you would be in if you were in the line of fire of their fight," Blaise commented.
"Blaise, please, I do not want them to fight. If Mister Alastair Ambrose sees, we will all be reprimanded if not killed by him."
"He is too busy thinking of whatever you did in his office."
I crossed my arms, "What makes you think I did something?"
"You are Ginger Smith. You will always make sarcastic comments if you do not want to get in trouble."
I bit my lip, "Okay, you got me there. I did, but I did not want to be worked to death for nothing. Plus I did not technically make anything up."
"Really? Because you are alive."
"I do not quite understand what you mean."
"The self-inflicted wounds you made earlier."
The anger I had toward him from earlier came back. I slid my knife out and pressed it to his side while locking my free arm around his neck in a choke hold. Blaise tried getting out of my grip, but I held tighter.
"Hey! Adams! Jett! No fighting! Break it up!" Mister Alastair Ambrose yelled, "Good work, Miss Smith. Mister Calnan, you can learn a thing or two from Miss Smith."
Blaise growled at Mister Alastair Ambrose's words. At least he came over at that time, rather than when Blaise and I were talking. I cannot believe that Blaise would actually tell Mister Alastair Ambrose what I did, then protect me from the fight between the demon and the human. I mean, I am sure that Mister Alastair Ambrose it more dangerous since Jett is to protect me.
Blaise knocked my arm and pushed me away. I growled and pressed my knife against his side again, holding my arm stiff as to not let him push me away again.
"Get off me, Ginger," he hissed.
"No," I growled, "You deserve to die. I cannot believe you would tell Mister Alastair Ambrose what I did, especially when I am friends with Apple and you love her. She would never like you then."
At that moment, I was pushed away from Blaise and slammed against the weapons rack. The red haired, red eyed demon who helps Blaise had an extremely angry look on her face.
She slowly made her way over to me before grabbing me around my neck. She lifted me off the ground, slightly. Her hand started contracting, preventing a lot of air from getting into my lungs. Suddenly, I saw blonde hair and red eyes running toward us as well as brown hair and amber eyes. Fleur and Jett.
Fleur ripped Ina off me and Jett stood in front of me, ready to attack if needed. Ina hissed at the blonde demon, who stood her ground, ready to attack the other. Gian came over, placing his arm over my shoulder. Blaise just seemed indifferent about this whole situation.
"Gin, are you okay?" Gian asked.
"Fine, thanks for asking."
"Do not lie, Kitten. She had such a tight hold on your neck, one more centimeter and it would have snapped. You cannot train for a while. I will make sure that your neck heals thoroughly," Jett stated.
