"Let me Laugh Again" V Fanfiction

Chapter 16: Of frustrations...

Min-ji turned up the volume in the car she was working on. She spent a fruitless hour just tinkering with the vehicle but produced no results. She was still angry from the last fight with her mom.

Actually, she didn't want to be immature, but it was hard acting all grown up when you're trying to convince any parent that you know what's best for you.

Unfortunately for Min-ji, she was prone to fits of anger and was notorious for making rash decisions, which didn't help with her appeal, at all.

She finally stood up and threw the wrench away but winced a second later when she heard it crash against something, followed by what sounded like something breaking. 'Uh oh' she bit her lip.

Last time, the manager reprimanded her for breaking a table in one of the meeting rooms. 'Well, that guy definitely deserved it!!!' she thought, defending herself.

Last month, a male customer was assigned to her, for driving lessons. The male customer, kept making passes at her and when she remained professional, he became nastier, throwing shade at her qualifications.

If there's anything that made Min-ji furious was to be belittled just because she was born a female. She stood quickly, butting her head onto the man's chin, then punching him square in the face. His nose was broken and the glass table broke too, because he fell on it.

But the manager blamed her, as if it was her fault! Thankfully, the customer didn't sue her because she vowed to sue him back for defamation and sexual harassment. She sighed again and felt like kicking something - hard - just to release her frustration but there was nothing more to be done.

She was going back to school.

V woke up early and stretched a little before showering. He ate breakfast quickly and tried to finish before the other members woke so that he could ease out quietly therefore escaping from all their teasing.

He stood and got his bag, and walked quickly to the door when all the other 6 members magically appeared before him.

"Ugh - not today guys..." V pleaded.

"Let's get him!" screamed Jhope. All of them piled on top of V and crushed him under all their weight. He screamed at them and tried to get out, but it was hopeless. "Oh wow! He looks so manly in his outfit!" "What up school boy!" Jungkook laughed at V even though he too,  was still going to school. He managed to survive all their teasing and when he looked at the time, he realized he was late!

V said, "Gee thanks for making me late guys!!"

"You're welcome, now go!!!" they shooed him out.

V just hoped that it wouldn't be so bad - being back in school and all. He hoped he'd pass all the course requirements plus promote with the other members plus his driving lessons, 'Wait! Driving lessons?!'

At least there's something to look forward to and 'Min-ji!!'

He smiled for the first time that morning.
