Chapter 22: You're on!

       Eun Sung might have wanted to impress Min-ji with his antics but his attempt at showmanship only sounded flat to every one's ears. His group members cringed in embarrassment but Min-ji didn't really care anymore. She just made sure to take a good look around to make sure she will never set foot in the place again. 

       The space was quite huge and was messy but the mess had an unexplained harmony into it. She actually liked the smell of the place and she knew belonged. She started to feel a little smile creep into her face when she walked around a bit more. 

       Min-ji inspected every model that the group was working on and was impressed. She was quite excited but only the smile was any indication that she was stoked. She suddenly remembered herself as the little kid at the grandstands in the U.K who was secretly rooting for JB and look where he is now!

Min-ji smiled a blindingly gorgeous smile when she turned to the group and for a moment all of them were stunned.

"Alright! You've convinced me. I'll join your group" she said, still smiling.

"Yes!" "Alright!" they cheered. Well, the two of them anyway.

       The only girl finally spoke, "Welcome, my name is Hye Jin. And this is-"
"You don't really think that it would be that easy, do you?" the tall, good looking guy mocked her. "Yah! What are you doing?" Eun Sung almost yelled at him.

       The guy just shrugged. "I mean - what, we just let her join because she has nice wheels? What the hell is that?!" he sounded angry and his brow was furrowed deep into a frown. Yoon Su sighed and shook his head, "This is Min Jun by the way..."

       Min-ji's smile disappeared quickly and was replaced with a cold and calculating look. Hye Jin unknowingly cringed when she saw Min-ji's cold side but Min Jun didn't even seem fazed.

       "What do I have to do to get into this 'club' of yours?" Min-ji said through gritted teeth. She was furious. She was used to have everyone agreeing with her so she felt personally attacked when people are being contrary.

       Eun Sung said, "Well you didn't really have to-"  "If you beat me in a race - well - then we'll see..." Min Jun challenged her.   "Min Jun! You're crazy!!! That's absolutely-" Hye Jin started to argue but Min Jun just cut her off, "Well, what do you say pretty girl?"

       Min-ji's nerves were so close to breaking and this effing sod had the guts to mess with her. 'Does he think I'm easy just because I'm a girl?' she thought.

Min-ji smiled one of her mocking ones and stared straight at him.

"You're on!" she said and walked away.
