When I got home that day I received a text message from Travis. It said, "Hey. I'm sorry I was such a jerk to you today. Maybe we can still be friends?" Friends!? FRIENDS!? Are you kidding me!?! I hate men! Or boys...I hate Travis! I replied back right away saying, "Yeah sure. Friends." I never got a response back. Soon after my parents came into my room to talk to me more about the divorce. My mom told me that my father is going to get his own place in Iowa, while my mom and I stay in Nebraska. Then my dad chimed in and said, "You can visit me whenever you want to. And we have it set up where you visit me every weekend. Does that sound okay Olivia?" (No it doesn't) "Yeah, I guess so." I replied. "Good. And don't worry your mother and I will still continue to be friends." Friends, I'm starting to really hate that word.
