When we got to my dad's house I went straight to my room and shut the door behind me. "Is she coming back out?" I heard Lisa ask. "I'm afraid not." My dad replied. Well he's right. Then I heard footsteps coming towards my door.
Then someone knocked on my door and pushed it open. I knew I should've locked it. It was Lisa's face that I saw come through the door. "Hey, Olivia. Why don't you come out there with us?" She asked. So I was completely honest with her. "Because you both ruined my life!" She looked at me confused. "I thought you wanted to be here." She said. I laughed. "No! I never did!" I yelled. "I hate this place! But most of all I hate you!" Tears filled her eyes. She finally knows my pain. "Look, I know you blame me for what happened I could tell by the look on your face when we first met. But, I love your father, Olivia. I know this is hard for you but just give it some time. I for one can't wait until you are my step daughter." With that, she left me alone. It was my turn to cry. I was so harsh and so mean. And yet, she was still so nice to me. What did I do?
