I woke up the next morning to a voicemail from my mom. "Hey sweet heart its your mother. I have good news! I got a promotion! Isn't that exciting? The problem is we are going to have to move to a different town. If you don't want me to take the promotion I won't, but trust me when I say this, is will benefit the both of us. I love you. Think about it, ok?" Moving? I quickly texted my mom. "I'm so happy for you! Take the promotion!" When in reality I wanted to text her (don't take the promotion I don't want to move! What about Brooke! And all of my other friends? Do you only care about yourself?) but I didn't say that. I can't say that to her. I may be mad right now but that doesn't mean I want to hurt her feelings. I just want my old life back...
