Derek is a very mysterious person. No, just kidding. He's very happy and full of life. He's curious and open about how he's feeling. He's usually always wearing headphones. I seriously wish I knew what he's always listening to, but he never tells me. That's the only mysterious thing about him.He has messy black hair and blue eyes. Derek is different from any of the guys at my school. They mostly have blonde hair and brown eyes. The girls have dark hair and blue eyes. However I'm also different from them. I have blond hair and green eyes. I guess Derek and I are both different, misfits. Maybe that's why he likes me so much. Or maybe that's why I like him so much. We understand each other. I'm so glad I get to call him my friend.
