"Do you know who's picking you up from the airport there?" Evan asked me while we were loading my suitcase out of the trunk.
"Yup. Kellin is personally picking me up." I lied to him. Honestly, I had no idea if any anyone was even going to be picking me up at all. I was going to text Kellin when I was situated either way.
"Cool. Text me when you land okay?"
I nodded my head. "Will do. I'll see you on Sunday night."
"Oh! Don't forget your homework." Evan said before I could escape.
Grumbling as Evan went into the car to get my folder, I had a brief thought of just leaving without my work, but I didn't want to fall behind and cram it all on Monday morning.
I snatched the folder out of his hand and as I rolled away I could hear him laughing.
I went inside and immediately saw the line for check-in, so I stood behind the last person in line. Whilst kwaites, I pulled out my phone, and tapped on the Twitter app.
"I'm flying to New York! Special project there (: Hopefully I'll be able to tell you more once it's finished." I tweeted after I had looked through my mentions.
While I was waiting in line for check-in, I began scrolling through my timeline. I noticed a tweet in my feed from a YouTuber named Emma Blackery. (A/n . I love Emma's twitter, so don't go saying I hate her haha. Yall think I hate Cyr just because he's the 'villain')
The tweet read, "Just watched a video titled 'What Not To Do In Vegas For Dummies'. Not only did I not laugh, I didn't find the appeal at all." My eyebrows frowned as I read it.
Uh, if I wasn't mistaken, which I knew I wasn't, that was my video! Was she really dissing my video in front of everyone?
"And what part didn't appeal to you?" I tweeted in reply to her tweet.
"The main concept was childish. How people can watch it amazes me." I furrowed my eyebrows even farther. The people behind me cleared their throats and when I looked up, the line had moved further on. I checked my bags in before going to stand in line for the security scan.
"So sorry that everyone who watches that video and enjoys it has a sense of humor, unlike you. If you want to subtweet, why not be an adult and tell me personally?" I replied back whilst I waited. Take that bitch.
"Because you don't even check your messages." What the fuck did that have to do with anything?
"Haha, funny you say that because I follow all of my fans and reply to messages everyday. Just because you're upset over a personal problem doesn't mean you have to take it out on me." (Yes, this message was split into two tweets).
After that, this Emma chick didn't say anything else. What I was curious about was when did I start following her? All I knew about her (after stalking her profile) was that she was a semi-successful YouTuber who didn't really fit well into the looks department. And yes I knew looks didn't matter, which was a good thing for her.
"You're one to talk fat ass." My brain retorted.
Way to put a damper in my own mood.
- 3 Hours Later -
I was finally on the plane, sitting in first class when I noticed a familar face walking by.
"Hey Alfie!" I called out. That was Alfie from PountlessBlogTv. He did more of vloggy types of videos like myself; sitting down and just talking to your camera.
"Hello Samm!" He said once he saw me seated. Since there wasn't anyone sitting next to me, I patted the seat next to me for him to sit.
Before the flight attendant could tell him that he needed to go back, I told her that it was okay for him to sit with me. I guess she somehow knew me because she agreed and said, "Yes Ms. Porter. Is that where he'll be sitting for the rest of the ride?"
