I grabbed my phone and scrolled for Matt's number.
'Are you guys still partying? I think I want to come.' I texted Matt. Not even a minute later, I received a text from him.
'Yeah! We're in room 546. Leda, me, a few others are here. You can come if you want to. Just don't drink too much haha'.
"EVAN! IM LEAVING." I yelled through the bathroom door.
Opening the door, I walked to my suitcase. In there were my bright blue jeans and Asking Alexandria shirt that I had decided I was going to wear.
"Where do you think you're going?"
"I'm going a party. No big deal. Just want to have some fun."
"You are absolutely not going Samm and that's final. I don't care who you're going to be with. You're not going to that party and that's final."
"You can't stop me though." I sneered. I should have stopped when I had the chance, but I didn't. I was a teenager who needed to experiment. I needed to make more mistakes so I knew I lived my life to the very fullest.
"But I can Samm. That's the beauty of me being older than you. I have total control of you because I'm your older brother."
"You're not in total custody of me though. If I want to go to a fucking party, I can!" I yelled. All I wanted to do was go to a stupid party. I don't know why Evan was fighting with me on this!
"Samm, you don't want to go parties. The parties scene is a pity scene. Watching drunk people is depressing. You don't need to worry about that. If you want to party, go ahead. But not now. Later. You can party later on in life, when you're living under your own roof."
That's when I really shoud have shut my mouth.
"My own roof? MY OWN ROOF? IM THE ONE WHO PAID FOR OUR APARTMENT! I GOT THE LEASE AND I PAID FOR EVERYTHING. ALL YOU PAID FOR WAS THE GAS TO GET HERE. HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT I HAVE TO LIVE UNDER MY OWN ROOF. IF ANYTHING, YOU'RE LIVING UNDER MY ROOF." I let him have everything. Who was he to say that I had to wait to live under my own roof? No one. I paid for freaking everything. The hotel rooms, the lease for the apartment, furniture we ordered online, everything.
"Samm, what are you trying to say?" The hurt in Evan's eyes were so evident. His usual happy eyes were now drowning in pain.
"I don't know Evan. Just get out. Give me a moment to think." Holy crap, was I turning hormonal? Please don't let that happen. I don't want to be hormonal.
"There's nothing to think about! You're not going to the party. End of discussion." I stared at Evan with wide eyes.
"Fine. Fine. I won't go to the party."
"Thank you. That's all I asked." Evan said quietly. I just looked at him and sighed.
'Changed my mind. Don't think I'm gonna head over. Thanks for letting me know about it though(: . I'll just see you tomorrow?' I texted Matt when Evan left the room to go get something from his car.
Maybe I did take things too far. I had no right to be so horrible to Evan. He took me in, cared for me when no one else did. He was the one who raised me, not my mother or the sperm doner.
Ha, we should try to track him down and get him to pay all the child support that he's missed out on. Plus emotional damage that left on his wake. That would be six, almost seven years of child support to pay.
'Why do you even care Samm?' My brain suddenly asked.
I don't know why I did. Evan had always been my mother and father when it came to being a parental figure, but it wasn't the real thing. When I was with Morgan and her dad, there was an obvious connection between the two. It was like a bond that was indescribable because it was only something between father and daughter.
