"Samm, I'm going out with Greg tonight. Are you sure you're going to be okay by yourself?" Evan asked me as he fixed some messy parts of his hair.
"Yes Evan, I'm going to be fine."
"Don't open the door to strangers, lock all of the windows, and only answer the home phone if it's me." Evan gave me this talk every single time he would leave the house. Sure, mother was there, but she was drunk. What the hell would she do? Drink with the murder?
"If it makes you feel better, I'll do a live show so that way people can see what I'm doing." I offered.
"That could work actually." I said. "I'll get my laptop and tell everyone that I'm doing the show."
"Good." He said. "Then it looks like I'll be going. I'll see you later on then Samm."
"Bye Evan. What time are you coming back?" I asked.
"I'll be home around either 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning." Evan said.
"Alright. I will see you later on then."
"Okay, bye Samm, see you later on. Remember what I told you to do. There's food in the fridge and if anything happens make sure you call me, 911, or run for the neighbors because they know I'm not going to be here. Have a good night."
"Go already Evan. Greg is waiting for you!"
The moment Evan left and shut the door behind him I immediately went to my room for my laptop. Turning it on, I signed into my Twitter account, and sent a tweet that said ' doing a live show in 20 minutes on YouNow. See you there! (: '
Sighing to myself, I rubbed my face, and went to the kitchen. As I digged through the fridge, my phone started blasting music. I ran back to my room and looked at the caller ID. Damon's picture was showing and I decided to answer.
"Hey Damon what's up?"
"Are you doing anything right now because I think we need to talk."
"No I'm not doing anything right now. Why what's up?"
"It's about us kind of." He said. "I still have feelings for you and before you say anything to me I want you to listen to what I have to say."
"Damon I don't know if we should be talking about that." Honestly, I didn't want to hear what he had to say to me. I didn't want to know and I didn't want old emotions to come flaming.
"Please just listen. I only need 5 minutes to explain myself."
"Fine, you have 4 minutes and 50 seconds. Times a-ticking." I don't know what he wanted to say to me and I think that worried me greatly.
He sighed before speaking. "Well I don't know where to begin. I guess I should just start by saying that I care very deeply for you and not having you in my life sucks. A lot. I hate it."
"Damon, that is never going to mean anything to me anymore. You ruined everything we had. You confessing your feelings isn't going to make me change my mind and change what happened to us.
"You're not listening to me. Just listen to what I have to say, please." He pleaded with me.
"You promise it's important? Because if what you say is stupid I will never speak to you ever again." I knew that what I was saying was a lie, but I wanted to keep him on his toes.
"Pinky promise. That they day when Cyr told me that you cheated I was flabbergasted. To think that you, Little Miss I go against cheating, to actually do what you preach not to amazed me. I don't know why I got so angry, I will never know why. I want-" Before he could continue, I heard laughing and talking in the background.
