I fall to the ground. The evilness is surging out of me. My teeth go back to normal. I'm human! Since I didn't complete the transformation, and now that I'm human the code doesn't apply to me. My mother can't kill me. Or at least she doesn't have to. I'm free! I go to find Lucas. I find him at the park where we always used to meet after school. He's crying. I go up to him and he starts to run. "Lucas wait! I can't run that fast! Slow down!" I yell. "Nice try you monster! I'm not falling for your tricks!" He yelled back. "Lucas I'm human now! I didn't complete the transformation!" He slowed down. Then he stopped running all together. "You didn't?" He asked. I explained everything to him. After I was done he gave me a hug and then he kissed me. "But wait. You didn't complete the transformation. Doesn't that mean that your mom has to kill you?" He asked. "No, it's a long story but when I siren doesn't complete the transformation she turns into a human. The laws don't apply to me anymore. My mother can't kill me. She never could! She was lying to me." I replied. "How did you find out?" "Well it was right before the ceremony."
