Before the ceremony when I was waiting for my mom to announce my name, a hunter snuck into the room and talked to me. He showed me a handbook that the sirens had hidden. He didn't want my clan to gain another member so he came here to stop me without killing me. The rules state that if a siren doesn't want to complete the transformation she doesn't have to. The other sirens however can kill her. But if the clock strikes 1:00 and the siren turns into a human the other sirens can't harm her, and she is free to carry on with her life a normal human being. After the hunter showed me this, he snuck back out but before he did he said, "Stall them. You don't have to be evil. I'm confident you'll make the right decision." So I went to my room quick and broke a mirror. I took the glass shard to the basement with me. When the clock read 12:45 I placed the shard next to you. Then when I lunged at you I was confident you would find it, and I knew you wouldn't kill me. All that was left was to make my escape. So I made it look like I was running after you, which I technically was. The only problem was, for a second I actually turned evil, I loved it. But when you said my name I snapped out of it and remembered my plan. I have you to thank Lucas. Thank you. Because of you we can finally be together.
