I did it! I'm free! I am an hour ahead of my mother. She hasn't realized that I'm gone yet! Haha! Yes! Sorry, I'm just really happy right now. I don't want to turn evil and now I don't have to. I'll of course be chased around my whole life and I'll have to live my life on the run, but I'm willing to do that for true love. I know, I know. I sound really corny right now but that's just the way I feel. I love Lucas. " I love you Lucas." "I love you too Tal. A lot." Lucas smiled at me from the drivers seat. I was dreading this day since I was 13 years old. But for the first time in forever. I am completely calm. The plan is in motion and so far it's working. Lucas is all I need. He doesn't need me to change in order for him to love me. My mother on the other hand does. No Thalia! Don't think about her! This is your time! I'm calm I am happy, I am hungry. Lucas and I stop at a restaurant for some breakfast. Eggs and bacon, of course. I will never have to give them up. After we eat, Lucas and I drive and drive until we find a cave. We park the car in there and take a little break for a while. After minutes of silence Lucas looks over at me and says, "this isn't going to be easy you know...life on the road. Are you sure this is what you want to do? I mean, wouldn't it be easier if you just did what your mom wants?" As a response I leaned over, kissed him, and then I said, "I'm with you and you're all that I need. I'm 100% sure that I want to do this. This is my choice Lucas, my mom doesn't own me. She can't control me out here. I don't want to end up like her...like them." I sighed and Lucas leaned over and kissed me. "Well as long as you're happy I'm happy." He sighed. Why can't life be like this all the time? Simple, easy, and without a care in the world!? Everyone would be so much happier. Without a doubt. Lucas and I sat there until his watch read 9:00 am. "Time to get moving again. We don't want the clan catching up to us." So off we went on our adventure into the unknown. The end.
