I found a fantastic 1 mark question that gives you a lot of content if you memorize the answer I am going to give you. Later I will compare this to a six mark question on fermentation.

This was a question from a June 2014 Edexcel higher paper.

Name a condition needed to be controlled in a fermenter. (1 mark)

Aseptic conditions (1)
Prevent the growth of unwanted organisms/ contamination (1)

Temperature/ PH (1)
Optimum condition for growth (1)
Prevent enzymes being denatured (1)

Nutrient level (1)
Needed in aerobic respiration/
stop anaerobic respiration (1)

Obviously this is a one mark so one point would suffice, however, if you remember these points you could easily get 6 marks on a fermentation question.
