Chap 11

As if my life can get any better. Now I was stuck in a vacumn, in the year 2111, with no one to help.

And don't even mention Daniel. He didn't even regain consciousness yet.

I looked at his unconscious body at the side. They had dumped him with me into this lord forsaken room moments ago.

I sighed. I didn't even want to bash that jackass up for bringing me into this.

He stirred and woke up. Rubbed his eyes, and stretched.

He looked over at me.

"Whats the trouble now?" he asked as he leaned against a wall.

"What trouble?" I drawled out.

"The trouble you caused us." he stated carefully.

"What?" Now I was confused. What the eff was he talking about?

"The reason why we are here?? It's you right?" then he gave an all suffering sigh.

That made me snap.

Why is it that everytime I'm with him, I seem to end up fighting with him?

"WHAT? WHAT'D YA MEAN I'M THE ONE WHO CAUSED ALL THIS HOW ABOUT YOU YOU BASTARD WHAT YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING?" I screamed out, my anger pouring out now. He looked stunned and stood up.

"WE WERW BOTH BLOCKING THE SIDEWALK THAT'S WHY WE ARE HERE AND BESIDES I WASN'T THE BLOODY IDIOT WHO BROUGHT ME TO THE YEAR 2111! BLOODY 2111!"

He frowned. Then he looked at me.

"I what? I portalled us to 2111?" he rubbed his chin.

And looked utterly hot.

STOP THAT YOU ARE ANGRY MICH!

ANGRY!

He smiled to himself.

"I have never been able to bring someone to the future. Only Uncle Timothy could do that."

"Who's Uncle Timothy?" I asked, panting.

"He was the black sheep in my family."

"You weren't the black sheep?"

"Nah." he grinned at me. "Far from it."

"Doubtful."

"Well, believe it. Trust me, in my family, even Hitler seems like a saint."

"Again, doubtful." I smiled a little though.

"I'm serious! There was Uncle Jude who tried to kill his three wives, then there was Aunt Demmie, who did kill her sister, my Aunt Hilda. Then, there was a moment of bigamy in my family..."

And he regaled me with stories of his family. It was fun, but I think I fell in love with his cute boyish enthusiasm in discussing his family.

He looked like a little kid, eager and happy. Cheerful.

Sadistic too, seeing as he was happy about telling me about his family's misdeeds.

But, he looked cute. Cherubic, even.

I laughed as I pictured his head on one of those bodies of roman babies.

"What's so funny?"

"Oh nothing, babies and whatnots." I laughed as he shot me a confused glance.

"Hey, did you know Hitler only has one testicle?"

"Did you know that if you weren't so charming, for transporting me to 2111, you would have had no testicles by now?"

"Smart mouth, smart girl. Huh." he grinned, unfazed by my verbal attack.

"When do you think they are going to let us go?"

"About now." the invisible door slid open and the policeman from before entered. Without the suit.

"We are sorry about the inconvenience caused. You can go now." he spoke to me, smiling a little.

Without his suit, he was...

He was...

Indescribable, that's what he was.

Gorgeous greyish hazel eyes that warmed my soul and little crinkles at the edge of eyes when he smiled, even just a little. His face was rugged and his body... His body was perfection.

I mean, he is a detective.

But still.

"Thanks. Come on, let's go."

"Hey Mich right?" he smiled at me as I reddened and stumbled after Daniel.

"Yeah?"

"You seem new here. Where are you from?"

New seemed like an understatement.

"From Idaho." I lied as he frowned.

"Where's that?" he answered, cocking his head to one side.

"USA." I answered. What? They didn't have Idaho anymore?

"Never heard of it, but it sounds decent."

"Hey, we need to leave." Daniel tugged me and I frowned.

"Mich? How about I show you around later? At about 6? How's that? Ill show you around."

"Where?"

"I'll meet you at Jack's. It's right opposite. I'll meet you there."

"Ok." I smiled tentatively back. He smiled and then blindfolded me.

"Sorry, regulations." he answered apologetically and I grinned like an idiot.

"It's okay." I felt him take my hand and pull me somewhere.

"Get off me." Daniel sounded muffled. But I couldn't care more.

HE WAS HOLDING MY HAND!
