Recap
“Melissa…she was the it girl of the school. The hottest girl dating the biggest jerk of the school, Brad. He always liked to pick on me and shove me against the lockers. This was the day when I had just discovered my effect on people. He kept telling me I’d stay a prude forever. He even challenged me to get his girlfriend to kiss me. So confident knowing that she won’t. But he didn’t know about my eyes, and I let the chance to prove myself get the best of me and got her to kiss me. That look in her eyes told me I did it. She was the biggest obsessor. And the most powerful too. She left Brad, and that created trouble for me too. She wouldn’t leave me alone. I kept telling her no no no. But she was so set against the fact that we were in love with each other. She doesn’t love me for me.”
“No one ever will love me for me.” He mumbled under his breath.
At this I reached over and put my hand on his. He looked up at me and I stared back at his shades. Trying to look through to see the special eyes I just learned the truth about.
“I was sick of it all. Sick of the hurt I caused everyone. I had to leave. So I did. I came here to start anew. And my dummy followed along.” He said pointing his thumb at Jerry. I smiled at that.
“ Then tonight happened. And for some reason she was there. I had to get out. And I got you into this mess too. So now you know.” I nodded.
“Wow. So is that why you wear shades all the time? So you can live your life and not have to face heartbreak wherever you go? Not have anyone look in your eyes? That’s pretty smart.” I admitted.
“That’s because I thought of it. Thank you very much.” Jerry said standing up straight and taking a bow.
I get to be lucky and actually know Rex for who he is. Not practically be forced to fall in love with just when I catch a glance of his eyes. I can know him for him. Though that might not be so great… I smiled and looked back at him at the thought. He was looking down. And then suddenly he looked up out of nowhere, and caught me looking. I turned away and blushed. He smiled to himself.
Yeah. We definitely aren’t strangers anymore. Friends…
Maybe.

Chapter 12
What is that annoying chirping noise. What are those things called again? Turds? Firds? Oh wait BIRDS! Man they are so annoying, I turned over to drains out the noise.
Boom!
I hit the ground hard.
Ow. I rubbed the back of my head with a grimace on my face. That's gonna bruise, I thought as I gingerly touched a spot on my head and winced.
I checked the surroundings around me. It looked like my room. The same frog slippers under my bed. The same Channing Tatum poster.
What happened last night? Wait. Wasn't I at...Rex's.?!
I was at Rex's? Wait... Forget Who, What, Where, When, Why, all im asking is HOW!
How did I get home! I don't even remember anything!
"Brrrrr" I jumped up at the sound of my phone vibrating. A text? This early in the morning? I glanced at the clock, WHAT! it's noon? I slept in that long? The noise didn't stop so from my spot on Tge ground I reached my hand up rummaging through the items sitting on my nightstand toll I felt a vibration.
Once it turned on I realized it was from an unknown number. What the heck?
The text read 'Sleep soundly? You left your death contraptions, (heels) at my place.' who's this stalker and why did I leave my death contraptions at his crib!? I panicked.
