Chapter 6: New Siblings Bondings 2.

The last few days, Ryan and I stayed up all night lying on the sand, star gazing talking or even have a night swim til sunrise. (I know It's bad for our bodies, but who cares(except Ryan's dad), It's our summer.) We pretty much talked about our life actually, we've gotten the chance to know more about each other which I am very greatful for. He is funny, cute and smart I don't know why they bully him. They see him from the outside not the inside and pick on him and lower someone's self esteem. Same thing to his brothers. I haven't really talked to the twins yet, they are still shy to me. Don't worry they won't be soon.

Today is the fifth day since we started talking, we decided to have a picnic on the beach tonight. It's romantic I know and I know what you're thinking too, It's not a date. He is bringing food and drinks mostly snacks and dessert. I know it seems unfair but he insisted (which is a boy thing to do in a date, but like I said It's not a date.) and I'm planning games/activities to do.

I am now preparing for the picnic which is in fifteen minutes at midnight, I wore a plain white tank and a pair of jean shorts. I looked through the list of games/activities I made, I have "20 questions", "Never Have I Ever (water version)", "Truth or Dare" and "Tag", I couldn't think of any other more so I got some Cheesy Jokes or some stories unless he have any more ideas to do. I looked at the time, five minutes to midnight. With nothing to do, I went outside five minutes earlier.

When I got outside, I saw everything is set already. Picnic cloth place neatly on the sand, and the picnic basket on top holding the cloth from being blown away. When I got closer I saw Ryan trying to light up the candles but it end up being put out by the wind.

'Ugh, stop it.' I heard Ryan mumbling.

'Ryan.' I called. He ignored me, seems eager to light them up.

'Ryan.' I called again, laughing at his determination. Still ignoring.

'Ryan! Hey Ryan! Ryan!' I said walking close to him, taking the lighter off his hands.

'Aw, no.' he whined crossing his arms across his chest.

'There's no use, Ryan. They will just get blown out by the wind.' I chuckled at his childish-ness.

'But-but.' he complained but no sentence came out.

'No, Ryan. It's nice that you are determined to light up those candles, It's really sweet. But you will just waste your energy trying to. It's fine, we can have a picnic without candles right?' I explained sitting next to him on the picnic cloth.

'You're right,' he sighed looking down disappointed. But suddenly he looked up at me with gleaming eyes.

'What?' I asked confused.

'I have an idea!' he said excited, looking like a puppy when his owner came home.

'Ok? What?' still confused.

'Do you know those lamps outside our hut?' suddenly he ran to our hut's side steps bringing back two lamps. And lighted the candles quickly inside the lamp and closed it before it got blown out.

'Smart idea, Ryan!' I said high fiving him.

'Haha, thanks.' scratching the back of his head.

After a while of silence, I decided to speak up.

'So, what did you get?' We said in unison and broke out in laughter.

'Man! haha.' high fiving him again laughing more. 'I think we're too loud.' I said after recomposing myself.

'Yea, I agree.' he said when he stop laughing himself but smiling. 'So ladies first.' indication for me to go on.

'Thank you.' fluttering my eyes, playing along. I took out my list, clearing my throat. 'So I got "20 questions", "Never Have I ever-"
