Chapter 16: I will always love you (finale)

Briar's POV

   This is it, today I'm leaving for London, I'm leaving all my friends, I'm leaving Myles who apparently didn't even love me like he said he did. Leaving everyone just broke my heart, as I was packing Brittany wouldn't stop sobbing. "Britt please stop crying or you're gonna make me cry" I said. "I'm sorry Bri but I can't help it, the thought of not having you here with me everyday, of not getting to talk to you before I sleep and of not helping you when you're heart broken, when you used to come to my rescue when something made me upset, Briar you're my best friend, I love you" She said as she ran up for a hug and cried on my shoulder. 

   "I'll miss you too Britt, but I promise that I will always come to you for help, and you can count on me, I'll text you and we can even video chat" I said trying to cheer her up. "Yeah I guess so" she said as she helped me pack the remaining clothes. I heard a horn outside and looked through the window, it was the limo that was taking me to London, my dad said that he would meet me at the airport and the talent scout booked a limo to come pick me up. Brittany, Trevor and a bunch of other guys came to say goodbye, and as I thought Myles wasn't there.

    "I will really miss you Briar, you were like a sister to me" Trevor said hugging me with tears in his eyes. "I'm really sorry I couldn't convince Myles to come he just wanted to stay in our room" he said. "It's okay" I said, honestly I preferred not having Myles there, even if I did want to say goodbye to him. I look up to his window and I see him staring, I couldn't exactly see his face expression but I guess he was happy I'm leaving, I gave him a final wave and I looked back at Brittany who had been crying nonstop ever since we woke up. "Brittany I promise I will video call you every day, it's night time here when it's daytime there so I will find a way to make it work, Brittany please don't cry or else you're going to make me cry" I said pulling her in for a hug, honestly I was already crying, I was going to miss that place even if I hadn't been there for long. I was the last to come...And first to leave. I waved goodbye to everyone and gave one last group hug to Trevor and Brittany and went inside the limo, I guess this was it, it was the beginning of a new chapter in my book.

Myles' POV

   I had been looking at Briar from my window ever since she went outside, she even saw me and waved at me, I couldn't wave back I was too upset to do anything, why didn't I say goodbye to her? After I was lying on the bed staring at the ceiling Trevor and Brittany came in. Brittany hit me hard in the arm. "Ow, what was that for?" I asked. "Being so mean to Briar yesterday" she said, so I guess Briar told Brittany what had happend. "Yeah dude that was uncool of you, couldn't you have just let her down easy if you weren't in to her anymore?" Trevor said. At those words I broke down in to tears. "You guys don't get anything" I said as I locked myself in the bathroom. 

   "Wait bro what's going on?" Trevor asked. I came out from the bathroom and looked at Trevor and Brittany. "I only said those things so that Briar wouldn't stay against her will, I know she loved me and I love her too but Ii couldn't be so selfish, it was her life I couldn't bare to see her stay here and be unhappy about it" Brittany got angry at me and she punched my arm again. "You're such an idiot!" She said right before she stormed out of our room. "What did I do?" I asked Trevor. "Myles, couldn't you have just told her the truth?" He said. "Couldn't you have just went with her? Bro did you seriously have to break her heart? She's leaving to London with a broken heart, if you think she's happy then you're mistaken, bro she was only happy when she was with you and now you let her leave like that? Without even saying goodbye?"

   Trevor was right, why did I just let her go? Why didn't I say goodbye? Why didn't I ask the talent scout if I could audition for their school so I could go with her? Why,why,why?! I was so mad at myself that I ran out from the door and ran desperately outside. I ran far from the school for a couple of miles until I realized that I could never reach the airport if I ran, I was too late, why was I always late to figure things out? Right then I heard a car honk, I looked in and saw Tess in her car. "You better come in if you want to catch Briar" she said pointing to the door, I didn't know why she was helping me trying to catch Briar if she didn't even like her. "Get in idiot!" I heard Brittany and Trevor call from the back seat. So they were there to? I was running out of time to ask myself silly questions so Ii just got in to Tess's car.
