We got to Derek's house just in time before the rain started pouring. It's been a while since it has rained this heavily. I'm still regretting everything I have done with Derek, all the happy things anyway. I don't know what it is but there is something pulling me closer to him, I just can't seem to let go. But I have to. Eventually, I'm going to have to let go of him, and if I don't, he will. It's just a matter of time before we split apart, and then it will be like I never met him, and I will go back to being alone. Maybe, I should tell him now..

"Alex, Anta just made lunch, let's go eat," Derek said. Okay right before I leave his house then I will tell him.

"Who's Anta?"

"The maid," Derek answered casually. He has a maid? I never even knew maids exsisted in real life. His life must be too easy, everything is perfect. How I wish my life was like that. Someone to clean my house, cook my food, my parents will be loving and perfect, not dead and in jail. I don't know what I have done to get this punishment.

"Let's eat then," I said and ran upstairs trying to get there before Derek. As soon as I got up the stairs, I didn't know where to go, his house is too big.

"Ha ha!" It was unfair because Derek knew the way to the kitchen. I managed to get pretty close to him when we got to the kitchen. I was surprised at how many hallways and turns we had to go through to get the kitchen. In my house, you just enter the house and the kitchen is right there.

"Derek, Anta made chicken nuggets and fries," a little boy squelled. I recognized that voice. But where have I heard it? I can't remember, but I know that voice. I took a few steps to my left so I can get a better look at the little boy. It was Anthony! I knew he was similar to Derek, I just didn't expect them to be brothers. The cute little boy, who almost managed to make me smile the first time I met him is Derek's brother. I'm not very surprised. It's almost scary how their facial features are so similar. Especially their eyes.

"Alex, this is my little brother --"

"Anthony," I finished for him.

"I remember you. You were the girl that didn't smile and I wanted you to," Anthony said and took a big bite out of his chicken nugget.

"You guys no each other?" Derek asked.

"I met him once on my way to the super market," I informed him.

"By himself?!"

"No, with some lady," I reassured.

I took a seat to the right of Anthony, and Derek sat to the right of me. Anta gave us a plate full of chicken nuggets and fries. I can't believe Derek and Anthony live like this. Every meal of everyday is served by their maids. They don't have to do anything, they just relax while they pay someone else to do all the work. I took a bite of my chicken nugget and it tasted so good. I never ate these in years, all I usually eat are fruits and other shit and I can afford.

"So you eat like this everyday?" I asked. I was curious as to if everyday their meal is made and prepared for them.

"Uhh... no not really." I could tell Derek didn't want me to feel bad by saying yes, but I already know they do.

"What's your name again?" Anthony asked. He smiled sheepishly.

"Alex," I said.

"Isn't that a boy name?" asked Anothony. I chuckled.

"No her name is short for Alexandra, right?" Derek asked.

"No, my name is just Alex. It's not short for anything. And Anthony, it could be a girl or boy name," I told them.
