Silence. Complete and awkward silence. I sat quietly on my seat and eat silently.

I glance at Gajeel. He's just eating silently. My mom is talking to her boss about some business.

I sigh inwardly. Out of all people, does it really have to be him? Am I cursed or something ? I heard Gajeel snickered. My face heat up when I realized I was staring at him. 'Ghaaaa ! H-he caught me staring at him !'

"So, how was school Levy ?", I heard mom asks.

"Uhm .. It's ... been fine.", I mumbled.

"Fine?", my mom looks at me with confusion. I heard the devil chuckled.

"Is there something funny, son ?", my mom's boss asks.

"Nah. I just think she's funny.", he says as he points towards me and smirks.

"W-what ?", I can't believe this guy ! I groaned. Stupid. Stupid Gajeel !

"Yeah, you're face is funny. "

"Gajeel ! That's being rude. Apologize to the young lady."

"Tch.", he just rolled his eyes and look away. Look away !!!! Fuuu !!! Can I just pierce this fork in his eyes and twist it slowly ?!

"I'm so sorry for that Leviana.", mom's boss, or Mr. Metalicana, said.

"Uhm, i-it's ok sir. They are just teenagers."

"Still, Gajeel, that's not a very good attitude."

"Yeah yeah.", he said nonchalantly.

I just glare at him and he just smirks at me.

"W-well, ok uhm by the way Lev, I need you this Saturday, are you free ?", my eyes widen and I nearly spit my drink. Shiit ! I forgot about that!

"Uh, I-I'm busy.", I mumble.

"Oh, are you gonna hang up with Gray ?"

"Nah, she'll just have to deal with some punishment.", all eyes are now on Gajeel at what he said.

"Punishment ? Lev, what is this about ?", mom said as she looks at me with a hint of disappointment.

That stupid idiot ! Why can't he just leave me alone ?!

"Uhm, I- I got into trouble at school. I'm planning to tell you about this as I got home, but you have visitors.", I said as I look down on my plate.

"And how do you know about the suppose punishment ?", Mr. Metalicana says as he looks to his son.

Gajeel just kept silence and his father then looks at me for some answer.

"We are both gonna be punish by our History teacher."

"Oh, so you two know each other?", mom asks.

"Y-yeah. We're classmates." Sadly.

"Gajeel Redfox ! How many times do I have to scold you for being in trouble ?!", I flinch at Mr. Metalicana's voice. As I look at Gajeel, he just glared at me. I subconsciously gulp at his stare.

"U-uhm sir, I think it's just natural for the kids at their age to get into trouble sometimes, right ?", my mom said trying to ease the growing tension at the table.

"I'm so sorry for this Leviana. But this young man does nothing but trouble. And I'm so sorry too, Ms. Levy. I'm sure it's this idiot's fault that the both of you are in trouble." I quickly nodded at him earning a growl from the man in front of me.

Payback time. I'm not gonna back down from this stupid idiot.

"I-it's ok sir, I'm use to him being very rude to me." I say as I look at Mr. Metalicana with pleading eyes.

"Gajeel !"

"I've never been rude to her ! I just tease her. She's very short."

His father picks his ear earning a groaned from Gajeel.

Fufufufufu~ who would have thought. Now I know his weakness.

"That is what you called being rude. Apologize, now !"

"O-ok. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.", he says half-heartedly as he rubs his ear and glares at me.

Seriously. I probably have died a couple of times in his head. Who cares, he doesn't already reincarnates on my head.

"L-levy, why don't you bring out the cake on the fridge.", my mom says.

"Alright." I quickly stood up and went to the fridge when Gajeel trips me. I almost lost my balance, luckily I grab the counter.

I heard him snorted and looks away. This stupid idiot ! He's lucky no one's looking.

I place the cake at the table and went back to my seat.

Finally. The dinner was over and mom is now walking out Mr. Metalicana and the stupid idiot.

"We're very sorry for the trouble Leviana."

"It's ok sir. It's nothing really."

I glance again at Gajeel and he's just messing with his phone and earplugs is on both of his ear.

"It's nice meeting you too, Levy.", Mr. Metalicana says as he smiles to me. I blush at how handsome this man is. Ok I'm weird, this guy is way older than me, he could practically be my father because of his age, but ghaaa ! He's handsome, and a gentleman too. Unlike his son.

"I-it's my pleasure too sir.", I say as I smile.

"We're heading out now. Gajeel !", he says as he pulled the earplug on his ear.

"Bid your farewell."

"Tch. Goodbye. Thanks for the meal.", he says nonchalantly.

"Goodbye to you too, Gajeel. Take care.", mom says.

The two Redfox went to their car and heads out to our neighborhood.

"You have an explaining to do young lady.", mom says as she close the door of the house.

"Yeah.", I mumbled.

We sit at the couch and mom wait for me to start my explanation.

I told her all the things that happened to me this couple of days, but of course except Gray's favor and the 'whore club', or let's say Gajeel's fans club.

She just heave a sigh and adjust her glasses.

"I'm sorry. I didn't meant to cause trouble.", I mumbled.

"No sweetie, it's ok. Come here.", she says as she open her arms for me.

I quickly went to her and hug her tight. This is the best thing about mom, she knows how to deal with the situation.

"I love you, mom.", I say as I close my eyes and relax at her embrace.

"I love you too, honey.", she says as she rubs my back.

I feel myself slowly drifts to sleep after that.
