I suddenly woke up as I turned around the bed. Wait bed ? Am I home ?

I glance around to examine everything at the dark room . Sunrays are peaking through the fluffy white curtains giving little light for me to see.

It is my room.

I slowly rose up and check my clock. It reads 8:19 am, Saturday . I walk downstairs not bothering to change my pj.

"Goodmorning honey. How are you feeling ?", mom asked as she motioned for me to come to her.

"I'm fine. How did I got home ?", I ask as I sat beside her and lay my head on her lap.

"Mhhmmm . Gajeel brought you here last night. It is such a romantic scene If I say.", she says as she gently massage my scalp and untangled my wild blue locks.

"W-what do you mean romantic scene ?", I say as heat slowly forms in my face.

She just giggled and think for a moment before answering me.

"He's carrying you on his back while you are sleeping. He said you fell asleep on the park. Isn't that sweet ? You two are a really cute couple."

"M-mom, we are not a couple."

"Oh ? After what he did to you on the play ?", she said teasingly.

I just groaned as she laugh again.

So Gajeel brought me here. That's right. I was crying on his chest yesterday because of the threat. Wait the threat. What will I suppose to do ?

"Mom?"

"Hmm?"

"Didn't you and dad have a complicated relationship? Because his family didn't accept you and they threatened you, right ?"

"That's right honey. What about it ?"

"Hmm. Did you back out from your love ?"

"Of course not silly. I love your dad more than anything, well before you came along. We fought for our relationship. That's why we have you."

"Even though they threatened you ?"

"Yes. Those people who doesn't accept your relationship, and doing something to break upon your love, they are just challenges. Challenges that you need to surpass in order to build a strong bond of love."

"Even if it will hurt you in the process ?"

"Levy, everything you do and you fight for, it will hurt you somehow in the process. But it will hurt you most, if you let them ruin your relationship, and you didn't do anything to stop it. They say, "it is better to do something and regret it, than to regret without doing anything".

"Hmmhh. So, what happened after you fought for it."

"They accepted me after some years, after your father died and when I was pregnant with you, they visited me on our home back in Crocus."

"Do you think, I can also fight for something I cared about ?"

"Of course. Levy, you are a sweet child. And you have a strong personality. I know that you can win against any struggles."

"Thanks mom. You have a really great love story.", I say as I hug her tightly.

"You can have one too .. with Gajeel.", she said teasingly.

"Mom !!"

Now I know what I'm gonna do. I'll fight for him. I'll never back down to this. I love him. And I know that he loves me too. O-or at least likes me.

Weekend passed by and I woke up in an early Monday morning. I did my usual routine, taking a shower, brushing my teeth, wearing my school uniform with my ribbon to push back my bangs and putting my red glasses on.

As I walk towards the gate of our school, I saw Lu-chan and Natsu walking together with their hands intertwined.

"Lu-chan !!", I greet as I run towards them.

"Goodmorning Levy-chan."

"Sooooooo, when did this happen huh ?", I said teasingly as I look at their intertwined hands. They both share a deep shade of red faces as they awkwardly stood before me.

"W-well, he asked me out yesterday.", she said failing to hide her blushing face.

"Fufufufu~ I knew there is something going on between you too. And Natsu, took you long enough."

"S-sorry. I never imagined that she also feel the same towards me.", he said looking away while scratching his neck.

We walk together to our classroom. Natsu and Lucy became the hot topic of our classroom. Mira squeals as she daydream about her future godchildrens from Lucy. As I silently sat in my chair, Gajeel came in and sit on the vacant chair beside me.

"Goodmorning.", I greeted.

"Morning.", he replied nonchalantly.

"Uh, thanks .. about yesterday. A-and sorry for the trouble.", I mumbled as I shook my head to hide my blushing face.

"Nah, it's nothing. Besides, I promise you right ? I'll never let them hurt you shrimp. And I was amused yesterday. I heard something very interesting.", he said as he smirked and ruffled my hair.

"Very interesting?"

"Very interesting."

"Goodmorning lovebirds.", Mira teased.

"M-mira !"

"What ? Anyway, have you heard about the upcoming Christmas ball ?"

"Uh yes, Erza told me about that."

"So, Gajeel. Any plans?"

"I'm not coming."

"Are you sure ? Levy will be left out without a date. Oh wait, I'm sure Darren will not mind to be her date.", she said teasingly.

"Mira what are you talking about. Stop that."

"The shrimp will not date any man."

"Oho~ but you're not there ~. How can you be so sure ~"

He looks at me intently and leans closer as he smirks.

"Gihi. She'll never let any man touch her the way I do, right short stuff ?", he whispered in my ear. I jerk away as I feel the heat forming in my face.

"W-what do you think you're doing ?!"

"Kyaaah ! You two are too cute !"

"Tch. Now you have your morning entertainment. Can you leave us alone now ?"

"Okay Okay. Thanks for the meal.", she said as she went back to Natsu and Lucy.

"That woman. She never stop her matchmaking habit."

"I-I think that's her passion.", I say as I get back to my chair.

"Gihi. That woman is insane."

"And you are insane too for doing that for her entertainment."

"Insane eh ? Gihihihi maybe I am. After all, you made me insane ~", he whispered seductively. Different shades of red forms in my head as he laugh so hard in his seat.

"Jerk.", I mumbled as he ruffled my hair.
