→chapter eight

The day passed by and now I wake up in a Saturday morning. Sun rays are flowing in my curtains and the birds are chirping.

What a lovely day.

"Lev ! Gajeel is here !!", mom shouts from downstairs.

My eyes widen and my jaw dropped. G-gajeel ??!!!

I heard snickers from my door.

"You sure love to gape like a fish, huh ?", the devil says as he smirks at me while he's comfortably leaning on my doorframe.

"Ghaaa!!! Get out !!!!! You perv !!!!", I shout as I threw the pillow at him. Mother of Mavis ! I'm only in my pj !!

"Tch. As if there is something to see there."

"Get out !!", I shout, I can feel the heat creeps on my face. The nerve of this guy !!!

What is he even doing here ? I groaned. He really knows well how to ruin my day.

I quickly get out of my bed and locked the door. Who knows if he will come here again? I went to the shower and took my bath.

I dressed myself with a simple white sundress and a white bandana to held up my hair. As I look myself in the mirror and feel satisfied I head out of the room and went downstairs.

I saw Gajeel sitting comfortably at our couch. He looks at me lazily and smirks.

"Levy, Gajeel is here to pick you up.", mom says from the kitchen.

Wow. Is this really Gajeel ? He must be possessed.

"Mh.", I hummed and head to the kitchen to grab some apple.

"Mom, I forgot to tell you but I'll be having a sleepover at Lucy's later."

"Your blonde friend ?"

I nod at her while I munch my apple. After eating, I went back to the living room and head for the doors.

"I'll be back to grab my things later."

Gajeel stood up and head to his motorcycle that's park on our lawn.

"Hop on.", he says while fixing his helmet.

"Oh no. I am so not gonna ride that.", I say as I cross my arms from my chest.

"Tch.", he says then hop on on his motorcycle and grabs my wrist and pulls me and made sit on his motorcycle.

"Hey !"

"I don't care about what you're saying. And don't think that I'm doing this because I want to. My old man just don't let me have peace unless I pick you up and we both head to the library, together.", he said with a straight-face then sped off.

I quickly wrap my arms around his torso, fearing for the end of my life because of this death trap.

"Slow down !!", I shout and wrap myself tighter.

I just heard a "gihihi". Was it his laugh ? I chuckled at his laugh, it's unnatural and not a common laugh but shriek once he increase the speed.

After a couple of minutes, we reach the library. I quickly get off of his vehicle and hug the nearest tree .

I heard him chuckled but I just rolled my eyes from him. Stupid Gajeel. I almost had a heart attack ! I'm not use to those vehicles.

We entered the library and look for the head librarian.

Thank Mavis we work on the different side of the library, and I managed to avoid him all day.

We finish our punishment at five in the afternoon and I ran outside the library. I saw Gajeel waiting for me at his motorcycle.

"Tch. Can you go any faster ?"

"You don't have to give me a ride."

"If only I could do that. But my old man will not gonna let me out if I don't do as he say.", he said and threw me a helmet.

I groaned. Not again.

I know he'll just make me ride this by force so I just hop on by myself.

He sped off again and I wraps my arms in his torso and buried my face on his back.

Ok don't get me wrong. I'm actually enjoying this. I mean, ghaaad ! I can feel his abs on my hands. Now I know why there so many girls fantasizing him. He's body is so hot.

Ok stop. This is an idiot. Too bad, if he just doesn't have that bad and gruff attitude, he might be my crush. What am I thinking ???!! I caaaaannot !!!! I'm cheating on Gray !!!!!! LOL.

I didn't notice that we are already on our porch. I hop off the vehicle and runs toward my house shouting a thank you then close the door.

Once I heard his motorcycle out from our front house, I run to my room to pack my things. A PJ, extra dress for tomorrow, bandana and a book.

I heard my phone buzz on my study table.

"Hello ?", I answered.

"Hey Levy, this is Silver."

"Oh uncle Silver ! How are you ?"

"I'm fine. I just want to tell you that Gray can't meet you up tomorrow. I send him back to Crocus. His mother need him for something. He ask me to tell you because you suppose to meet him tomorrow."

"Oh, is that so ? Ok then. Thank you for informing me."

"Sure. It's nice talking to you again Levy. Try to visit here sometimes."

"I will uncle.", I said then he bid his goodbye and hung up the phone.

I sigh. Well, it's for the best I guess. I can't face him really. I at least need some time.

I change my dress to a simple shirt and tights and head downstairs.

"Mom ?! I'm going now."

"Oh already. Ok take care. Don't skip dinner ok ?"

"Yeah.", I said then peck her on the cheeks and head off to the door.

"Lu !!"

I meet with Lu-chan at the front of the school.

"Levy-chan !!", she runs to me and hug me.

"I'm ready."

"Great ! Come on now ! My friend is waiting at the house.", she says and practically drag me to the parking lot.

"I'm excited !!!! You have to tell me all the details about your punishment ok ?", she says excitedly.

"T-there's no much to tell.", I say. And the feeling of riding with him while my hands are wrap in his torso made me blush.

I heard Lu-chan snickers.

"Ooh, I don't think that's nothing.", she says as she smiles to me widely.

"I-it is nothing.", I say as I wave my hands in front of her.

"Whatever you say. But you will still spill it out. Or we'll forcefully pull it out from your tongue."

I just hummed to her. Gosh. What did I lead myself into ?

After a couple of minutes driving and singing along the song on her car, we reach a large manor. I gasp at how large her house is. This is practically a mansion ! I stared at their garden and at the fountain in the middle of it.

"We're here !", she says as we park at their parking lot.

I get off of her car and fix my shirt and bandana.

"Come on now Levy-chan ! I can't wait for you to meet her.", she says as we entered the house.

This is gonna be a loooong night.
