Mission Impossible: Seducing The Badboy

→chapter eleven

I walked to Gajeel's seat when the teacher finish his discussion. He gave us some time to discuss our project which is about a compilation of our  own summary about the history of the countries in Asia. And he also wants us to create a story about the country that we will choose in Asia.

Mira and Lu-chan arranged their seats so we are now having a small circle together with Gajeel.

"Hey Gajeel !", Mira greets casually.

Gajeel just grunt and took out his notebook.

"Quiet as ever I see.", Mira said.

Wow. Do they know each other ?

"I just don't want to talk to people. Especially the she-devil.", he said lazily.

Mira just smiles at him then winks at me which made me blush. W-why the hell am I blushing ?

"I'll pick Japan.", Gajeel said while writing some notes on his notebook.

"W-what?" The two girls just giggles and that made me blush again.

"Tch. Are you deaf or something ? Stop daydreaming. I said the country that we'll use is Japan. For the story that we'll write."

"Oh.", was all I could say.

He passed me his notebook then he goes back to sleep.

I read his notes and wow, am I impressed ?

It's a short history of Japan and a note said that we'll make the story of the ancient Japanese and so on and so forth.

He's really an A-straight student. And even though he's always sleeping and ditching his classes, this is impressive.

I look at the two girls and they are whispering to each other about the story that they are going to make.

I start to take notes too, failing to eavesdrop at their conversation, and focus to plan on how we'll divide the work.

As the bell rings for the last subject of the day, I walk out to the room to find Gray waiting for me at the hallway.

I never notice him lately.

"Hey.", he starts.

"Hey.", I smiled at him.

We walk silently to the gate after that. We greeted by Lu-chan and Natsu.

"Yo Levy ! Haven't seen you in a while.", Natsu said.

"She's busy with something Natsu.", Lu-chan said as she smiles widely at me.

"Y-yeah. Where's Mira ?"

"Oh, she's with Erza. They are working on something."

"I told Erza that you miss her, she said that she'll be finish on her job so she can come with us within this week.", Gray said.

"Oh, that'll be great.", I said cheerfully.

We starts to walk on the road. I talk about a new book I read to Lu-chan while Natsu and Gray, well as usual, arguing.

When we reach the stoplight, I saw Gajeel riding on his motorcycle passing the road.

I heard Lu-chan snickered besides me and as I look at her she's just wiggling her eyebrows.

I instantly blush as I know what's going on in her mind.

Natsu stop arguing and look at us.

"What's the matter ?", he asked.

"Oh, nothing . Levy-chan just saw her gruff--", I place my hand in her mouth to shut her off.

"T-this is nothing !!", I said too loudly and both the guys just look at me confused.

They just shrugged it off and we start to walk again.

The two boys walk us to my house, I invited Lu-chan for dinner.

As we reach our doorstep, we wave goodbye to the two boys and we entered the house.

"Hey mom !", I shout.

"Levy ! Good thing. Can you help me set the table. Mr. Metalicana is coming over. Oh hey Lucy", she says cheerfully.

My face turned pale. If his dad is coming does that mean ??

"Hey Ms. L. Thanks for inviting me for dinner.", Lu-chan greeted back.

"Oh it's my pleasure. Levy doesn't invite friends  over our house except for Gray, so it's a good thing. Get dress now."

I nodded at mom and I walk upstairs with Lu-chan besides me.

We change clothes and walk downstairs to set the table.

After a of couple of minutes we heard the doorbell rings and mom stood up to get our guests.

I heave out a deep sigh as Mr. Metalicana said that Gajeel can't come because he has something to do. I heard Lu-chan giggled at me.

"Eager to see him ?", she said playfully.

"O-of course not !", I said as heat creeps all over my face.

"So who is this young lady over here ?", Mr. Metalicana asked.

"Oh, I am Lucy Heartfilia, sir. I'm Levy's best friend. And I'm also Gajeel's friend.", Lu-chan said happily.

"Really ? That's great to know that my son have friends at school. You know I thought he has something wrong in his brains. He nearly come off of his room aside from going to school and hangs out with his cousin Juvia.", he said then laugh.

"Juvia is his cousin ?!", Lu-chan asked completely shock.

"What, he didn't tell you ?"

"Well, he doesn't really open up to us. And actually we don't think that he really sees us as friends. We kinda just push it to him."

"Oh, is that so ? Well I think it's still really nice. Thank you for being his friends.", he says as he grins at us.

"It's ok. As the future boyfriend of my bestfriend I just think that it's--", I quickly shove my bacon in her mouth to shut her off.

"Future boyfriend ?", Mr. M. (Metalicana is a long name to type and I'm lazy LOL.) asked, amusement shown in his face.

"I-it's nothing sir ! S-she's just joking.", I laugh nervously but Lu-chan just shove me away and starts to talk again.

"Yeah future boyfriend. We are planning to tie them together. Levy is in love with your son."

"I-I am not !!!", I said as I feel my face burning from embarrassment.

"Ooooh. Then maybe you can visit our house. You can know him better. I like my son to have a girlfriend. Seriously, I'm beginning to think that he is a gay."

Gay ? He doesn't know that probably Gajeel already sleep with hundreds of women.

"Oh we will love to Mr. M. !! We have a partner project. Levy is Gajeel's partner and I told Levy that we should visit your house but she keeps refusing saying that she doesn't even know where Gajeel lives."

"Oh Lev, I'm proud of you. You're finally growing up.", mom said as she entered the kitchen with the rest of our foods.

"That'll be no problem. Leave it to me. Here's my number. Just give me a call if you're going to our house and I'll send someone to pick you up.", he said as he push a little card in front of us.

"Oh thank you Mr. M ! Don't worry, we'll make Gajeel fall for Levy !!", she said confidently.

The two adults just laugh.

Oh Mavis, now the father will help with the mission. Can this get more complicated ????
