- Leah -
"Goddammit Leah, will you please wake up?" The nagging voice continued to ring through my head.
"Stoppppp." I whined.
"It's literally past noon. I've been up for three hours and you've been laying on my fucking floor looking dead the entire time." He snapped.
"Oops." I groaned groggily. "Sorry. What's today?"
"Tuesday."
"Shit!" I shot upright immediately, regretting it as soon as it happened, as my body was aching with exhaustion from the incredibly fun but exhausting night before. "I have class today!"
"Leah, do you ever skip?" He smiled, amused at me.
"Only when I'm sick."
"Can I just say, you're missing out."
"Bro, I worked really hard for four years to get into this school. It's been my dream since I was seven. Of course I'm not going to just skip, I love it here." I rambled, quickly standing up and throwing the pillows and blankets back onto his bed.
"I worked hard to get here too, but you should really take advantage of some things here. Like we don't live on campus but we can still go to frat parties and shit."
"I hate alcohol." I rolled my eyes, grabbing my clothes that I wore to the concert and placing them under my arm to hold them.
"Yeah? How many times have you tried it?"
"Once, and it was disgusting."
"Exactly. It takes some getting used to."
"Ashton, I'm not going to a frat party with you. You can just forget that right now." I laughed, grabbing my phone from the charger and sitting on his bed, looking up locksmiths nearby on Yelp.
"I'll get you there someday." He smirked, walking to his desk and sitting down. I peeked at him to see his laptop open to an extremely decorative word document and a textbook, along with multi colored highlighters.
"Wait..." I muttered. "I can't believe my eyes. Is..." I began.
"What?" He turned to face me on his twisting chair, a look of concern and wonder etched on his face.
"Is... Is the Ashton Irwin... studying??" I giggled.
"Yeah?" He pressed his lips together, rolling his eyes. "Big deal. Everyone studies."
"I could never see you actually studying." I shrugged, smiling and looking down at my phone again. After finding a pretty good one, I walked to Ashton's patio and called them. They told me they would be at my apartment within an hour, so I walked back into Ashton's apartment. I closed the door and peeked at Ashton again...
Holy shit.
He's wearing fucking glasses. And he pulls it off very well.
Can he not be so fucking cute and hot at the same time? Damn, boy.
"What did they say?" He asked, not even looking up from color coding his textbook.
"They said they'd be here in an hour."
"Want to grab some lunch?" He asked, standing up and placing his glasses on the textbook.
No, don't do that. They're cute, dammit!
"Sure, where?"
"It's your decision. Don't be that one girl that can't decide anything." He pressed his lips together in clear annoyance. Not wanting to set him off, I quickly made a decision.
