- Leah -
Michael🙃- i thought we made an agreement about you and ashton -_-
My confusion arose immediately. What does he mean? Ashton and I did not kiss again. We simply talked.
Leah- What do you mean?
Michael🙃- no more kissy shit...
Leah- Mikey, we didn't do that...
I pressed my lips together in annoyance, staring at the millions of lights in front of us, preventing us from leaving the parking lot of the venue.
"What is it, L?" Ethan questioned.
"Michael is mad because he thinks Ashton and I kissed or something." I rolled my eyes, chuckling slightly as I stared at the cars. "Look, move another two inches so that car doesn't get in front of us."
Ethan quickly put his foot on the pedal and pressed down, inching in front of the car trying to take our place. He grinned at his accomplishment. "Well no shit. Who wouldn't think that?"
"Ethan, I didn't kiss Ashton."
"That's surprising." He grinned.
"Shut the fuck up, Ethan! I'm not a whore!" I laughed.
"I am though, and girl, move onto Ashton is what I'm gonna say."
"Why Ethan, why?" I rolled my eyes, laughing still.
"He totally likes you. He just isn't good at expressing himself. Trust me, it's obvious. This has dragged out for too long. Just... Get some, Leah!"
"The fuck?" I chuckled.
"I'm serious Leah. I think you like him too."
"Who would like an asshole?"
"Maybe, just maybe, he's not as much of an asshole as you think he is." Ethan paused. "I think it could work."
"Never." I laughed. What seemed like years later, but in reality was an hour or so, Ethan escaped the parking lot and we began driving home. Once we arrived at my apartment, I realized I had forgotten something.
"Thank you so much for this Ethan. That was absolutely incredible." I leaned over to give him a tight, sincere hug.
"You'd better bring me to a concert now." He joked.
"I will." I chuckled, backing up and opening for car do to get out. I grabbed all my stuff and slammed the door shut, waving to him as I walked into the old, cheap building. I walked up the stairs, excited to kick my shoes off and collapse onto my bed.
I arrived at my door, digging through my small bag for my keys.
Wait. Where are they? No jingle?
"Shit, shit, shit." I muttered to myself.
"What's the matter?" I felt a shock of electricity coursing through my body as his warm hand touched my waist. I jumped.
"Ugh, you scared me." I sighed in relief. "I think I lost my keys.."
"Don't you have another pair?"
"They're inside my room." I pressed my lips together, realizing that he still had his arm around me and his hand on my waist.
"You're gonna have to call a locksmith. I can't pick a lock and I doubt you can either." He shrugged.
"Ashton, locksmiths aren't open at one o'clock in the morning." I huffed. "Wait."
"What?"
"I can climb into my room from yours."
