Peeking to the open glass porch door, a dark figure stood, concealed by the moonlight. My heart stopped for a moment at the sight the silhouette. I mean, how often do you look through your glass door and see a person standing there?

This is the worst fucking time to get robbed.. I hope whoever it is has good intentions.

The figure waved at me, terrifying m me even further. They see me...

Shit.

I felt my entire body start to tremble as I stared. A noise on the other side of my apartment made me quickly turn to the side. Somebody was still knocking on my door. I looked back at the figure through the glass, and immediately relaxed. It was Ashton. He turned on his phone light so I could see. I held up a single finger to him to tell him to wait, crawled out of my ever so comfortable cocoon of blankets, and closed the curtains. Quickly, I walked to the front door and peeked through the hole...

Michael.

Well shit, I don't want anymore Ashton and Michael drama tonight.

I opened the door, him immediately smiling. "Hey lentil."

"Hey Mikey." I gave him a small smile in return.

"You left your phone in my car. I hope I didn't wake you, but I didn't want you to be phone-less because I hate when that happens." He rambled.

"Aww, thanks Mikey." I grinned, taking the small object that I use too much from his hand and giving him a quick hug. "Get some rest."

"You too, definitely." He chuckled. I smiled, quickly closing the door and turning back to the glass door where Ashton was only minutes before. Thank god, the curtains were still closed completely.

I speed-walked to the door, opening the curtains and unlocking the door where he still stood. Except now, he was sitting down, with an acoustic guitar in both hands, looking up at me. I grinned, sitting down in front of him.

"What are you doing with a guitar, drummer boy?" I laughed nervously.

He began to play it softly. "I don't only play the drums, you know."

"Talented piece of shit." I muttered jokingly.

"Thanks?" He laughed, continuing to slowly strum the guitar. I watched as his fingers moved smoothly across the guitar, giggling as he slowly made his little peppy sounding song faster. After a while of him playing ridiculously better than I thought he ever could, he suddenly stopped very quickly. "Lentil, I need to tell you something."

"What is it?" I asked, my heart rate immediately elevating. When people say things like that, it always scares the crap out of me because there's so many possibilities.

"Lentil..." He paused. "I... My..." He sighed deeply. "Our band is going on tour."

"What?" I smiled. Thank god, nothing too bad. "That's freaking amazing! When? To where?"

"We're just going around Australia for a few weeks..." He paused. "Starting tomorrow."

"Goddammit, why didn't you tell me earlier?"
